History
Established in 2010.
After being in the restaurant and nightclub industries for the last 30 years, we decided to open our own place. We are in the tradition of the «Old School» barbeque joints that were common place back in the 40“s 50“s and 60’s in the deep South. Our meats are 100% hickory smoked and we do them «slow and low» just the way they did. We offer traditional Que sides like potato salad, slaw, baked beans etc. Nothing fancy, just the real deal. The restaurant was named after my late grandmother who played a huge role in the style of cooking we have developed here at Willie Mae’s.
