Is this place a true definition of a dive bar? Why yes it is. Will you have a good time if you plan on ordering beer and listening to live music? Yes you will. I came here because I wanted to see what a local bar outside Walnut St looked like. It met my expectations and then some.

No they don’t have food…
Been coming here forever. Just because the name changed doesn’t mean the prices or atmosphere did.
Usually live music through out the week. Great drink prices; including pitchers under $ 6.
Although don’t expect to get waited on. If you sit at a table; you’ll be sitting there until you get up to get your own drinks. «Which makes me wonder why they have a no tip bell?»
Still the staff is friendly, the regulars are moody, and it’s a Springfield traditional dive bar. Yeah; you’ll see me here a lot.

Pretty cool bar. Great drink specials. Everyday people, not too yuppie and snobby. Usually have great bands a well. Think you can get a pitcher of PBR for 5 or 6 dollars.
