The Drain Strainer was designed to protect your floor drains, wall drains and grease traps from being clogged by food solids. It also is an affordable alternative to a commercial garbage disposal. The Drain Strainer offers solid protection for your grease traps, floor drains and wall drains while still allowing the sinks in your bar, kitchen and dish area to drain quickly. Simply remove the stainless steel strainer drawer and either save the food debris for compost or empty it into the trash instead of allowing these solids to clog your drains.

I’m a former software engineer, 15 year restaurant owner and City Council Member. The Drain Strainer is a small, family owned drain solution company that I founded and continue to own and operate. Our staff knows the foodservice business, understands your concerns and is here to serve our fellow commercial kitchen owners and operators.

We believe in quality vs. quantity. Because we are a small company, we may not always be available to answer every call as they come in. But we’re sticklers about checking and returning messages promptly. When you speak with someone from The Drain Strainer™, you’re talking to someone who knows commercial sink strainers, not someone who’s just answering the phone. Armed with cell phones, texts, picture mail, voicemail, e-​mail and fax machines, we can ask the right questions, to get you the right answers, as if we were on site in your kitchen.
