Horrible customer service, unaware of Missouri state laws, and ill-prepared rooms. The front desk staff was very rude upon my arrival. They were unaware of service animal laws in the state of Missouri. The staff asked for certification that my dog is a service animal, which is against the law. When I tried to explain the laws, she became angry and said, «No no, I don’t want to see the ID» while flailing her arms around. I was placed into the handicapped room. The caulking in the bathtub is black. The bathroom fan was making a horrible grinding noise. The alarm clock and TV was unplugged from the wall. The door is a heavy solid steel which was very difficult to open, but was the only thing that helped me feel safe in this shoddy room. Checking out at 6 a.m. proved to be difficult. I rang the front desk bell several times over a 10 minute period to no avail. Several times I said, «Hello?» and no one answered. Finally, I went to the house phone and CALLED the front desk. Someone sleepily answered, and I said that I was trying to check out. 10 minutes later, someone finally arrived at the front desk.
