Subway

This Subway is located inside the Huntsman Square «Mall». I don’t live in this area, but travel and stop by once in awhile during my lunch break. I went there today around noon and there were a few people ahead of me.
I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the manager taking orders. She was quick, courteous, and has a great memory. After seeing her deal with the orders before mine, I thought I’d test her by telling her what I wanted on my sub all at once and she remembered everything in the order I told her.
Now if only she worked at the DMV…

Employees must have the coolest manager there. Very nice person and definitely makes customers go back again.

I’m glad this is my neighborhood Subway. I’ve been to Subway’s all over and I can honestly say this is the best.
The bread is always fresh and the employees have never given me stale bread or bread that has been overcooked. You can physically see the employees refreshing the veggies– you’re not given some sloppy dripping mess of pickles.
The location does get a lunch rush, but the employees move the line quickly.
I’ll agree that the setup of the soda refrigerator is weird but it’s just the location (narrow store,) there’s nothing they can do about it.
As to people saying they didn’t get any coupons: if someone makes a mistake, they should correct it, not be expected to kiss your butt for eternity.
All-​in-​all, this is my go-​to Subway and the only location I go to in Northern VA.

This Subway isn’t bad. I am giving it three stars because it is an average Subway, nothing more, nothing less. I did find the setup inside a little odd. They had a soda machine in a very awkward place and it made navigating through a little difficult. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich though and the girls were friendly, our sandwiches were made right and everything was good to go. If you like Subway and you are in this shopping plaza, I recommend it.

Standard Subway, nothing special with food but I give them extra credit for the staff. They are always friendly and unlike many of the other Subway locations, they understand English and can communicate well. Sounds simple, but it is impossible to deal with staff that cannot communicate with you when the style of the food is to custom build each order.

This is our neighborhood Subway, the go-​to location when wanting a Subway sandwich. I would say it is a standard Subway. All of the regular Subway menu items are available and I have not made any special requests. I always select the Italian Herb and Cheese bread for my sandwiches. These days, that is a 6 inch Chicken and Bacon Ranch. Tweleve inches when I want to take half for lunch the next day. I’m happy that they serve brewed green tea iced tea.
I come about hte same time in the evening and sometimes there is a line and sometimes not. There is always seating avilable for those who wish to dine there. Service is good. Sometimes better, depending on the counter person.
The storefront faces an indoor mini-​mall.

Pretty normal Subway, it can get a bit busy during lunch times on the weekend with a few teenagers, but that’s expected.
I had an experience where my brother was overcharged by $ 1.50 for a $ 5-​foot long (he was using my card) and the cashier forgot to give him the receipt. We only realized this after I asked my brother to go back and get the receipt (I mean COME ON! Who forgets to give/​get the receipt!??)
The cashier gave back the money in cash and reprinted the receipt.
I took the customer satisfaction survey on the receipt to share my experience (gave low scores).
I returned later to get my free cookie (for completing the survey) and the manager saw the scores I gave on my experience (I guess the scores come out as validation codes). He apologized but it’s not like I got any coupons or anything…

Your run of the mill subway located in an «indoor stripmall» of sorts. If you have been here you know what I mean. Nothing to rant or rave about. Service has always been as good as or slightly better than your average subway.
