History
Established in 2010.
Opened in 2010, Spark Center’s mission has been to have each participant smile and sweat though an hour of dancing or stretching to some amazing music, no matter their age, size, or ability. There is no «wrong» at Spark, so ditch the workout and join the party!
As of November 2013, Spark Center has merged with The Children’s Study Home in Springfield (one of the oldest non-profits in USA). This new adventure has allowed the participants to donate to The Children’s Study Home via class purchases. Where else can you workout and give back at the same time?!
Spark Center is excited to offer Zumba Fitness®, Power Yoga, and the Hips Don’t Lie Plus/Stability Ball classes within the Mill Pond School at 91 Old Acre Rd. Springfield, MA 1 129.
We are constantly looking to expand our horizons to offer community members a quality workout in a laid back environment. Stay tuned for more class additions!
Meet the Manager
Rosara P.
Manager
Teaching my passion whether in a classroom or on the dance floor. I think it’s very important that everyone find what sparks them to stay active mentally, physically and spiritually.
I took over as owner of Spark in 2012, because I wanted to continue to provide people in the Springfield area with a way to stay active while having partying. I’m a licensed Zumba instructor and love sharing this with others.
In 2013, the opportunity came about to merge Spark with The Children’s Study Home. This venture was very special because I realized that we could help families in the community get healthy and their class purchases could give back to other families. What other fitness studio or Gym can you workout and give back at the same time?
I can’t wait share this experience with you. Find your Spark today!
