Nice local stadium, though has issues with rain delays.
We went to a Springfield Sliders game, which is in the Prospect League (a college summer league). The game itself was okay (though the players did have issues with the whole «giving up runs» thing). But it took two hours for the game to start due to a rain delay. Really? That long? It was about 8:45 by the time the game starts.
But overall, okay.
That being said, the Sliders do have a cool mascot, so yay for that! He’s a turtle. I like turtles.
