My husband has a terrible dental phobia, and I’m so happy we found Dr. Walinchus. I’ve been taking him to Dr. Wallinchus for about 10 years, and Dr. and his staff make sure he feels calm and comfortable. He’s had a lot of dental work done by Dr. Walinchus, and all the work was high quality and done in a way that did not cause my husband any pain or discomfort. He still has the phobia, but he can tolerate going to the dentist, thanks to Dr. Walinchus and his staff. He’s not only a good dentist, he’s a very nice person, too.

The office is full of liars. I asked when I called if they took my insurance and they said yes. It turns out they are NOT in my network and they failed to tell me that. All they told me was that my insurance does not assign benefits to the provider. Another lie because if they were a network provider they would have. I sat in their office for over 2 ½ hours only to be told I needed $ 14,000.00 worth of dental work. Then I had to speak to another person who tried to get me to sign financing paperwork. When I said I would have to think about I was told I needed to pay my bill for the exam, x-rays, and a «consultation» fee. They told me I would be reimbursed by my provider. I was never told about any«consultation» fee and no other dentist ever charged me this and it turns out my insurance doesn’t care for it either because they won’t reimburse me for it. I had more pain from this dentist and he never did any dental work on me! Terrible experience. Make sure you read all the reviews because it appears they write their own positive reviews to get their rating back up.

I have been going to dr walinchus for 25 years. I was always afraid of the dentist. He and his staff always made me feel less afraid by being kind and understanding. Dr W will go out of his way to make you feel calm. He tells jokes or funny stories. I don’t know how he does it all day but I’m no longer nervous to see the dentist. I recommend him very highly.
