O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

I think this is the last time I go to O’Charleys. I had the worst waiter ever first of all. I ordered a salad that never showed up, the waiter throws our food at us and runs, then never comes back, the manager stopped, I said our waiter disappeared, please bring us pie. He shows up quickly after that with the bill, then took forever to come back and get my card. Now I have a complaint that is sort of gross. The more I watched the hustle and bustle of the waiters and waitresses I noticed that they are all busing their own tables!!! First off, they are waitresses and waiters, they have to clean the tables too? Is this how O’Charleys gets away with not paying their people very much? No wonder you can’t get waited on, they’re too busy cleaning the place! I am not a freaky germ-​o-​phobe but the more I started looking at this the more grossed out I became… You do know they are cleaning dirty dishes off the tables people have eaten and slobbered on, picking up napkins people could be wiping their noses with, and then their hands are all over your dishes carrying them to your table? YIKES!!! Way to go O’Charleys!

Went there for the first time in a over a year, I was hoping the service and food may have changed with the buildings face lift… Nope. The wait for a drink from the bar was over 10 minutes. Specifically asked for our salads to come out before the meal and have time to eat the salads before the meal. That did not happen. The prime rib was served cool not even warm. The server honestly tried her best. I think the food is mediocre and not worth the trip. The hustle and bustle of the place is not friendly. Stay away it’s not worth it. Springfield has so little to offer .it’s a shame that this place is unable to find a way to stand out.

Absolutely pathetic! We’ve been here twice this week. Once on a Tuesday, once on a Thursday and each time we’ve been told 20 – 30 minutes to get seated. On Tuesday, there were like 15 cars in the parking lot and not that many more people inside. They said they sent home all their staff because they weren’t busy. Thursday, we went and it was a little busier, but the same thing happened again. They said they sent home servers again and it wouldn’t be 30 minutes. We were there around an hour before they were able to seat us. This place has some serious management issues.

I always receive consistently good service at this O’Charley’s. The few times there have been quality issues with my meal, the management is responsive to making things right. I am a fan of the California salad or steak, and my husband likes the salmon. The get you seated quickly, even on Free Pie Wednesday.

I love coming to this ocharleys! Comes here on a regular basis and the service and food never disappoints. The management and servers are always great!

This place is very nice on the inside, and a great family or a good place to hang with friends. The food is just OK I’ve never been impressed buy it. I’ve had Steak and the prim rib and wasn’t a fan of either one. I have had their salmon and crab cakes with where good. They have really good appetizers as well. A basic collection of beers and fruity alcoholic drinks like most places have. I think you have about a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of having a good dinner but the staff has always been nice but not the most attentive to you. I would say try it and see if like it but I don’t think your going to be blown away.

I really love their salads. Their service has also improved greatly lately.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Food was good. I had grilled sirloin… excellent. Daughter had French dip, and it was also good and HUGE! Megan was our waitress and she was excellent. Quick, attentive, and super nice. Highly recommended.

Had a good meal, Must try are the twisted chips.

Not the best service and the food is so-​so, my last visit was the worst, the server was not great at all, she kept forgetting refills and we waited forever for the check and even longer to pay, and never did get my to go box, I didn’t feel like waiting any longer

Food was good. The service not so much. It seemed like even though our table was in the middle of everything it was also the most forgotten table. Servers, managers just walked by and didn’t seem interested in helping us.

«It is what it is» here in Springfield, Ohhhhhio. We went last night because it’s close to home, convenient, predictable (variety is not ALWAYS the spice of life in Mr. M&P’s world…) and they send out 20% discount cards pretty often.
O’C’s is ok for what it is. They do change their menu seasonally, and within the «generic, All-​American, chain restaurant» model, they seem to try to offer a little bit of «something for everyone.» I had a pretty good burger on a pretzel bun last night, though they did add the onions that I didn’t want, and didn’t have the Swiss cheese I had hoped to sub out for the cheddar… (Life’s tough all over!!) Mr. M&P usually gets steak and potatoes (!!) which they seem to do well, fish and chips when available, or their chicken tenders, all of which are fine. They also have some good salads, pasta options, and not half bad burgers if you’re in the mood… Service usually ok, prices pretty average, so all in all a.o.k. if you’re in the mood, and the other half-​dozen similar options are already busy, this is as good/​better than any!!!

A friend and I stopped here for lunch today; lunch special of half of a BLT, fries and a salad was very good. The best thing was that it was free pie Wednesday; I had peach and she had french silk… both were delicious. All for under $ 7, as I drink water. Stop in anytime, but if you like pie, go on Wednesday.

Another chain in the wall. Better than applebees and tgif fridays.

OK, but pretty mediocre food. Not bad, just not exciting
