Visited on October 28th. Ordered the steak, salad and bacon smashed potatoes. Salad was good. Steak was the absolute blandest tasting thing I have ever tried to eat. It was cooked perfect just no flavor at all. I should have known when the server asked if I needed steak sauce, I replied«I hope not !!» In retrospect I should have gotten the steak sauce !! I probably won’t be stopping in again

Came in here about a year ago, the last time we took our son back to college. We had a marvelous time previously! Samantha seated us quickly and asked if we were satisfied with our place of seating, which she had chosen for us? And we were satisfied. Evan, our server was a delight! He helped us with our ordering selections. and served us well. He even gave us two to-go waters when he found out how far of a trip we had ahead. That was awesome! One thing that seemed to bother us that the manager came out to the dining area twice while we were in the restaurant and asked the other tables if everything was ok… but not once did he come to our table to inquire how we were enjoying or not enjoying ourselves. Not adequate from our point of view! Later Samantha came and asked how we were doing… ans we appreciated it! Later Evan, our server returns and I informed him what we noticed about the manager but he assured me he usually speaks with all and left and then thw manager came out tk inquire how we were doing… seemed a little too late, but at least he did come back to inquire. Rolls are some the best! Soooo soft, sweet, and buttery! Entrees were just, ok!

Unlimited soup and salad is pretty worthless if you never see your waiter!!! #emptybowlemptyglass

Good food(I mean, it is a chain after all) however, THISSERVICE is awful! We didn’t have any silverware so we had to wait for our server to come back to our table to give us silverware… she had 3 tables yet took so long to even get us our water and our rolls took 12 minutes. It is Easter but it’s not THAT busy. After 20 minutes of waiting(still no roll refill) we were informed that they aren’t serving veggie burgers today, so my mom had to change her order. The waitress apologized and said she wasn’t informed so there must be a communication issue. There’s a table that has just been sat that received their rolls within 2 minutes. Annoying. I feel like it’s because they have a larger party. If you don’t mind being extremely hungry and waiting 40 minutes for food, go here.

Usually good food. Appetizers are very good. Sometimes the service could be a little better.

My family and I have been here several times. It’s not our favorite place by any means but it’s kid friendly and close to home and the grocery store. The food is decent. They have a good grilled chicken salad with strawberries and the rolls are great. However, after our last time there about 3 weeks ago I don’t know when and if we’re going back. My husband was eating his iceberg lettuce salad and suddenly got this look on his face… then he spits out this piece of glass!!! It was pretty thick(like bottom of a drinking glass maybe), triangular in shape, small enough he may have been able to swallow it, and big enough it would have killed him, no joke. We didn’t make a scene, but we asked for a manager. She apologized and gave us half off our meal. Half off. It wasn’t a hair! It was a piece a glass that cut my husbands cheek and he nearly swallowed it! Now I’m looking for glass in my food when I eat out. Don’t think after that incident and the way they responded we will be back soon.

Was not happy with dinner at all. Ordered nachos for an appetizer, looks like they just throw chips on a plate with chili meat, queso cheese, raw onions and jalapeño peppers and a teaspoon dollop of sour cream. Chips were thin and reminded us if cardboard. Me and my husband both had one if their chicken dinners. I guess we’re spoiled eating grass fed chicken when I cook at home, this was processed chicken. I had the Parmesan crusted garlic chicken dinner. I guess the croutons thrown on top was the«crusted» part. We were not happy, wont go back. Gave it a 2 only because the waitress was prompt.

I have been here multiple times and never had a single bad thing on the menu. The drinks from the bar are great too. Most of the servers are super friendly! The manager on duty also swings by each time and asks us how everything is going. Highly recommended.

Ordered chicken fingers and baked potato. They were both overcooked. Girlfriend got half rack of ribs and they were tough and very fatty. Our waiter was good about it and the manager took it off the check. She got fish n chips the fish was good but her potato was overcooked as well. Management and service was good but food substandard for our likings.

Ordered a shot with my beer and the server acted like I asked for a line of cocaine. Policy is that no customer can have two alcoholic drinks at one time. They should change their name to O’Prohibitiony’s.

A good example of this chain. Jammed on a Friday night, but the server was very friendly and helpful. Their signature rolls were even more fresh than usual, and the entrees were especially good — the Fish and Shrimp and the Santa Fe Tillapia($ 10 each).

Rolls are warm and fresh. Food is good but the servers must hate their jobs here. Not rude but not happy at all either. Almost feel bad for them

Was in town on vacation with the family. The 4 star rating is for the food. The service itself was only 2 stars, but I’m not using that in this review because 1) I saw the manager off to the side a few times trying to straighten out his staff(so the manager clearly knows and is addressing the situation), and 2) I’m a traveler and not a local resident. If this was a local place of mine, I would have downgraded the overall rating –BUT then I would come back later and would upgrade their rating if the situation improved. Because I am not local, I will not be able to see if the Manager got the crew back on track — hence, the 4 stars is on the food I had a really simple pasta dish, but it was awesome. It is called the NY Pizza Pasta, and it is the ingredients of a pizza that had been thrown into pasta — very simple, but very tasty. Sausage, Pepperoni, red and green peppers, sauce and mozzarella on penne pasta — baked. My wife had the Southern Chicken salad, and she really liked it too, As a bonus, Kids eat free for dinner time between Monday to Thursday. I saw business travellers there sitting and eating at the bar away from the families and also families and kids(for the free food) — so, do not stay away if you are a business traveller as the place is big enough for all. Most of the families seemed to be clearing out between 730−8pm.

Pretty Average– I head a lot about it from family that was living there but I think they had been in Illinois too long. I didn’t find the steak out of this world as promised but it wasn’t bad. Kind of a mix between Chili’s and outback– not great, not horrible just generically average.

OK it’s a chain but in Springfield this is one if the better one when it comes to quality of food and service. Yep, I approve. Salads, steaks, seafood, all good and the service is polite, efficient and with a smile. Oh yep $ 3.99 for a margarita and $ 1.99 for a Bud might impair the judgment slightly…

Serving sizes are too small for what you pay. Food is bland and not exciting.

This place is a great place to dine. The food is always fresh, hot, and tastes amazing. The only down side is its not a fast service place to eat. It always takes a while to get your food but they do give you the most amazing rolls to eat while you wait, and trust the food is worth the wait.

This place is great! I went there recently and it was the first time I had visited since I was a Sophomore in college or something. I was certainly glad I came. It was just as good as I remember it. They have a bread basket that has the most obnoxiously delicious, buttered rolls. MMm MMM. Their loaded baked potato soup is excellent. Also, the beer is on $ 1.99. HA! Talk about a steal. The service is also great every time I’ve been here. I remember my mom and brother use to frequent this place a they loved it as well. If you’re in the area, then it’s definitely worth a try.
