Waited more than a month for this appointment and it was a complete waste of time and money. The doctor that saw me was socially inept. He couldn’t listen to anything I was telling him to the point that he prescribed exactly what it was that was causing the problem in the first place. This is some kind of weird skin mill money grab. A horrible (and I’m not just throwing that word around} business, with all of the accoutrements of an actual doctors office. I’m not looking for a miracle but all things considered an informed opinion would have been something.
The star is for the Physicians assistant. She was seemed quite competent and was very nice.

This practice is very poorly managed.
1. Terrible telephone service with no voice mail to reach staff and return phone calls. You wait on hold endlessly while bombarded by advertising for their cosmetic services.
2. Over a week delay and second request required by pharmacy for prescription renewal.
3. Report on biopsy took three weeks of missed calls between patient and nurse. No communication with doctor about basal cell until I insisted that I talk with him rather than the nurse.
4. No information sent to primary physician. Only provided when I complained in person to receptionist.
5. Some support staff were sullen and patronizing. RUDE as other reviews have mentioned
In short, I need to find another dermatology practice.

STAFF IS RUDE! Whether I have called to make an appointment or reschedule they are the rudest women! The Doctors are extremely good & professional (I have told them on numerous occasions how I’ve been treated by receptionists) My problem now is The practice is stopping my insurance! WTF??? This practice monopolizes the dermatology field in this area ! In search of a new dermatologist!

I almost didn’t go to NEDL based on the reviews I read here, but I’m so glad I did. My PA (Derm) sold her practice in Enfield, CT and I was devastated to learn she was no longer there and they no longer took my insurance. As a melanoma survivor, I have to have good, caring derm.
I made an appointment with Dr. Greenlaw at NEDL and hoped for the best. It is always stressful to have a yearly checkup, but I was so pleased with Dr. Greenlaw’s thoroughness and caring. She is calm and caring and really listens to the patient. I need a doctor who doesn’t discredit my concerns, and she certainly doesn’t. Her assistant is also a hoot. I’m so pleased I’ve found another derm I feel so comfortable with. I highly recommend this doctor and practice.

I have been a patient for over 20 years and had skin cancer removed and now require skin checks every 6 months. I had to cancel my appointment in March due to illness and they told me I can not be seen again until next year despite having some areas of concern. I said I did not need to see the physicians assistant I always but would be willing to see anyone and they said they can’t do that… all of those doctors, all of those sites, good health insurance, always make co-​pays and you can’t schedule me until next year?! What kind of practice is that?

Unfortunately NED is the closest dermatology practice which is in-​network through my insurance plan, however I now travel for my care. Similar to a previous review, I was «discharged» after a billing discrepancy (which was corrected and my account paid in full), however they wanted $ 100 to reinstate me as a patient. I reluctantly agreed to pay this ridiculous charge because I was in desperate need of an immediate appointment, and after agreeing to pay they STILL would not book an appointment until the doctor «approved my return». I’m usually pretty calm even when dealing with absurd situations, but this was just too much.

After reading the reviews I was very skeptical about coming here but its the closest dermatologist near my house and I must say I agree with everyone. The staff is rude. The doctor did not call in my prescription and when I called to inquire the receptionist was rushing me off the phone and said she will message the doctor. I have yet to hear back from anyone

I agree with the previous comment. The staff is rude. The doctor I saw couldn’t help to resolve my continuing skin issue. SHE’S A DERMATOLOGIST for goodness sake!
