Mitchem Tire & Wheel

Awesome folks who took pity on our mechanical dilemma. They could have taken advantage of us since we were traveling but they took us in and treated us more than fairly. Not your typical «tire place». If you need auto service in Springfield, MO, this is where to go. My husband won’t let just anyone work on his classic ’66 GTO. Lucky us! Route 66, here we come again!

Problem = Used Toyota van, badly worn front tires and in desperate need of and alignment.
Replaced front tires (Not purchased from Mitchem) and within 100mi had my young daughter stop in to Mitchem for an alignment. BIG MISTAKE!
The tech put on the rack and promptly came back to tell her the alignment was ok and that there was a defect in the tires. This was complete and total BS. The tech was just trying to sell tires when it already had a new pair install and computer balanced.
The big issue here is that they claimed it didn’t need an alignment, however how is it that the van pulled to the right prior to taking it to Mitchem and pulled to the left after leaving there??? My girl was smart enough not to fall for the BS up-​sell on tires.
SAFETY… Mitchem sent my daughter out on the road in an unsafe vehicle and they knew it !!!
Unless your a man and have turned a wrench or two in your life, you will likely get lied to, scammed and sold products and services that you do not need.

I came in for new tires as well as an alignment. My truck has never driven so sweet and I actually love driving it again. Mitchem’s friendly staff is happy to help in any way they can. Along with great service, they took care of my truck as if they loved it as much as I do. One sign that told me I could trust them with my truck was the cleanliness and organization of their service areas. Even the bathroom was really clean. But that’s obviously not enough. Talk to any one of their staff and they will answer all of your questions and explain everything. Too bad they don’t do repair beyond tires, wheels and breaks.
