Really good food. The price will creep up on you if you get an appetizer and upgrade to fried rice.

Overall i was not that impressed. We had a wonderful waiter, but thats about all that was great. I love Asian food, but there was very little flavor, and where there was flavor it wasnt quite right. I tried my brother in laws dish and all either of us tasted was ketchup. Will probably not be going back.

Came here since Happy Sushi has been closed with no sign of reopening and I was craving some sushi that wasn’t from the grocery store. Good stuff! Between a friend and I we had two philly rolls, the crazy roll, and the three musketeers roll. Our favorite was definitely the three musketeers roll — delicious fish, great texture contrast, and creamy avocado wrapped around the roll. The philly rolls were also fantastic. I had a couple pieces of yellowtail nigiri which were very pleasantly briny. Service was startlingly fast — we were in and out in less than an hour! This might be because it was off-hours, but there were still a decent number of people in the restaurant. Our server was nice and accomodating — and quick to bring the checks, too. I’m going to have to thank my boss for recommending it – based on the name I never would have thought they served sushi.

My daughter ordered two rolls of sushi. When they came out my daughter dipped a piece n soy sauce. Before eating she found a hair in the sushi, we told the server who got the manager. They brought my daughter newly made sushi supposedly. When she picked up the first piece, it had the soy sauce still on it. They never made new sushi. We will never go back.

Always hot, good food! Owner is always friendly and seems to always be there so service is good too. I am not a sushi fan, however, everyone I work with loves their sushi! Would definitely recommend!

Ate inside once & got carry-out once. The carry-out wasn’t as good as the dine-in but still good. They’re a touch pricey but not by too much. Very good food overall & would recommend it.

Mimosa is one of those rare gems of an Asian eatery. In Springfield, you have your choices, but I will admit, I’d never considered Mimosa as an option when going out to get my sushi fix on. Tonight, after striking out twice, a friend suggested Mimosa, because he knew one of the Bartenders. First, the atmosphere is gorgeous, the bar area is divine, and the bartender, Kurt, was top notch. The selection, next, was refined and to the point. To drink, my guest and I had a Singapore Sling and a Classic Mimosa. Both were excellent and expertly done. To eat, he had the tuna tempura and I the Three Musketeers Roll, featuring avocado, yellow tail, sake tuna, and asparagus, with a mild spicy mayo sauce. Delicious! Decently priced all around and a Kurt was an expert on sake presentation… cherry Sake in an vial style pouring glass on ice. I will be coming back to Mimosa, and if you’re like me and never considered it, hitting stumbling blocks with Osaka and Kiku, you should too. P. S. Kurt, Ben says you’re his dog!

One of my wife and i’s favorite places. Service is always good, the sushi has always been fresh and tasty and their Asian fusion menu has a good selection

I have been there more than 10 times in the last four months. Never had any thing less than a very good meal. Great flavor in the food, nice atmosphere, quick and efficient service. Recommended, Tom Yom soup.

I’m updating my previous review from a year ago. This time I went on a Friday night and got sushi. The sushi is not the best I have ever had. However, for Springfield it is pretty good. I will come back, though it will only be for sushi.

The absolute BEST chicken wings I’ve ever had. Lemongrass chicken wings, shrimp fried rice and mini egg rolls are our standard order. We never have leftovers and fight over the egg rolls and usually have to order multiple orders so the family is satisfied. OMG you have to try this place. Grade A They have parking and a dine in area and bonus, they have a drive thru window for carry out orders. Are you kidding me?! Come check it out.

They have great curry fried rice and crab Rangoon. I like the atmosphere here too, not old and depressing like a lot of places in this town. Green tea martini was great! Best part is, that they have a DRIVETHRU!

I gave 4⁄5 coz there is nothing in Springfield that would even get a 3⁄5 but since the place had the least ammount of flies and rice was not undercooked I gave it 4 stars. Service was ok. Price and quality of food 3⁄5. Presentation and ambience 4⁄5. Id say its a clean looking place… Miso soup was too salty and cold(our meal included miso and salad — waiter totally forgot to bring soup and a salad). Everything else just didnt have that asian/thai/vietnamese/japanese touch to it. Its trully an American restaurant with asian dishes. I dont think the waiter had the skills nor knowledge serving sushi or any asian food, but he was very very polite. Not returning here again.

I had the phở, it’s kinda blend. Hardly any need flavor. I think I added everything on the table just to have a decent taste. Don’t think I will order the phở again, but overall the place is nice and clean.

I like the ambience of the place. The waitresses are attentive without being overly so. We come here especially when it is someone’s birthday because it’s clean, has a wide variety of food for all our food-specialty-diet-needs, and they have decent seating. It has a steady stream of people and we don’t feel rushed. I like the seafood rice bowl. The sushi are also nice. The volcano roll was fun and yummy. and mild-mod spicy. =)

I had high hopes for Mimosa but we have now tried enough dishes to know that the quality and consistency are not there. We’ve tried a variety of dishes from drunken noodle to spicy glass noodle. Every single one seemed to be different if we repeated it and just not as flavorful as hoped. All of the food is bland. The service was poor. Very slow, wrong orders. Just not worth going back.

Oh boy… The place is very appealing to the eyes. It has a nice ambiance about it. Our waitress was nice, but… She gave us someone else’s food, then gave our food to someone else. Then we overheard her saying she also works at Magic Kitchen. Working at magic kitchen you’d think she’d be a relatively skilled waitress due to that place being so popular. The food was average. I had crab Rangoon and Chicken pad Thai. Both were good, but far from the best in springfield.
