McDonald’s

This location hails the most attractive McDonalds cashier I have ever laid eyes on. Her two teeth are like the Golden Arches. The coke probably comes in white powder form at this location. The CocaCola is as amazing as all other CocaCola at McDees.

We stop here on our way to/​from St. Louis. There are lots of places to stop, but they serve you the food fast and the order is correct. The bathrooms are pretty clean too, which is the #1 reason we are stopping in the first place. Ha!

Working in fast food is totally thankless. Terrible pay, and you have to deal with either horrible people regularly, or people like me who bring in kids who have special orders. This McDs stood out for a couple of reasons– they repeated the order so everything was right, and then they made ALL of the food correctly, which is more difficult than we would think.
The food was hot and served quickly, which was vital since I had a 5 year old with no known medical conditions but her behavior was leading me to believe her blood sugar content was dropping rapidly. Finally, bathrooms were clean and not weird smelling. If you’re commuting through Springfield, you could do a lot worse than this on a random stop. Thumbs up.
