Fall Family Fun! We are Middle Tennessee’s biggest outdoor Halloween Attraction. Take a hayride to our Pumpkin Patch for a Free Pumpkin. Get lost in our 10 acre Corn Maze. Or get a birds eye view on our new Ziplines. Visit KK’s Sweets and Treats, Shoot the Pumpkin Blasters, ride the Pumpkin Train, or watch us fire the Pumpkin Cannon! With over 75 attractions, Honeysuckle Hill Farm is fun for the whole family.

The Farm opens for the Fall Festival Season on September 29th.

Tuesday — Friday we are open for Educational Farm Tours from 9am-1:30pm. Small groups are welcome just call ahead to make sure we’re open and pack a lunch on weekdays.

We also offer a great venue for your next birthday party, company picnic, or event.

History

Established in 2003.

The Alsup family hosted their first fall festival for their church family and friends in the fall of 1997. Everyone had a great time so they made it an annual event.

In 2003, Jeff and Julie Alsup decided it was time to give their farm a name and invite a few schools to tour the pumpkin patch and learn about farm life. This was a huge success and each year has grown. Jeff quit his accounting job in the fall of 2005 and is now living his dream on the farm. God is good!

Today, Honeysuckle Hill Farm gives farm tours to about 20,000 school children and entertains weekend guests. Each September and October, guests visit us for an exciting and unforgettable fall experience. Whether it is for the smile on your child’s face as they ride the cow train, or pick their favorite pumpkin, or the challenge of a new maze design in the corn field; we hope that it’s the memories that you make with your family and friends that keep you coming back.

They advertise that they have a pumpkin patch. It was just an open field that they put pre-​picked pumpkins in. There is no actual pumpkin patch. There is no actual anything there. They buy EVERYTHING pre-​made and then sell it for jacked up prices. It costs 12 dollars a person just to get through the door. After that, you literally have to pay for EVERYTHING you want to do. Two dollars for a hayride. Two dollars for the pumpkin train or cow train. It’s just ridiculous that they bait people with advertising and then the product isn’t worth it. Don’t waste your time on the drive. It’s not worth the money.

The Daytime activities at Honeysuckle Hill Farm are fun and are great for a variety of ages.
The downsides are:
–not enough restrooms and the restrooms were filthy and not maintained
–food– the food is ridiculously over priced and they stay open until 11 on the weekends but closed the only spot to get «real food» at 6 pm leaving a lot of families mad and hungry.
–Add ons: for an $ 11.95 admission fee, several things are not included and you end up spending way too much on activities that should be included.
–super long lines for everything
The scream woods and zombie paintball attractions:
Unfortunately, I do not have one good thing to say about these experiences.
–slasher pass: I paid $ 10 extra for the slasher pass for each family member. There were no «fast pass lines» instead you had to cut line and have everyone in line angry and making you look like a complete jerk. We got some angry glares and nasty comments for our $ 40 extra spent.
— zombie paintball. What a crappy experience. We were lined up in a shipping container with the guns mounted on a counter and 3 zombies came towards us to shoot. It lasted less than 7 minutes.
–Haunted woods: so poorly lit and laid out that if you didn’t have a cell phone or flashlight you couldn’t see a path or where to go. The stops were far a part. The characters did touch, push and even separated me from my 9 year old son. Even though we never touched or even spoke to any of the characters. It was a horrible experience and I’m shocked people haven’t gotten hurt there. We will never be back.
Overall $ 200 was spent for a family of 4 for 4 hours and we left disappointed and hungry.

I’ve been to a lot of these «farms» there are much better options around the area, that won’t cost you nearly as much just to walk through the farm. They have some good things, but nothing worth driving here for. At least parking is free.

Came here for the haunted attractions and left disappointed.
We arrived around 1800. By 1930 we were finally able to get inside «Scream Creek». After waiting in line for over an hour to see «Zombie Paint Ball» we left and tried to get into the Fun House. Again, long wait times were an issue; another hour in line.
The attractions themselves were ok. Not so much scary as loud. Tickets over priced; compared to competitors and quality.
I wouldn’t recommend a visit unless you’re ok waiting.

We loved this place. We were there on a quiet spring weekday and got individual attention. Guys were happy to run the zip lines with our small party of three. They had a blast! Will definitely recommend and go again when in the area. Looks like it’d be a great stop in the fall also!

Had a wonderful time here with our 4 year olds and 2 year old. The corn popper, kid’s zip line, fun house, etc. were great. The corn maze has a story, which made it fun. Been to Lucky Ladd, Gentry and Walden. This was is our favorite! We also went on a Monday with the school kids instead of with everyone else on a weekend. Well worth a vacation day from work!

Gosh, I feel like all I am doing lately is writing poor reviews. I can’t seem to get away from poorly managed, rude employees, and paying high prices for a minimal return in product. Where are the days of under promising and over delivering. $ 57 bucks for two adults to stand four hours in two lines! Not worth it at all! Worst part :/​was if you paid 10 bucks more per person, you could get a slash pass! Thanks for telling us after we stood two hours in line and were next to play. Ugh! Also, I don’t think people should be allowed to pay more and tie up everyone else’s experience as well. Just another way to make more money. Greed as ugly as the creatures in the haunted house. Also my partner ended up not being able to go through because of her knee was locking up from standing and they would not refund her her the money for the event. Just bogus!

we came here today to pick our halloween pumpkins and had a great time. i’m surprised by all the reviews here complaining about the cost, b/​c there’s a lot that’s included w/​the general admission. you get a playground, a petting zoo (w/​goats, bunnies, chickens, and pigs), a mini-​trampoline area, a duck pond, a corn maze, a complimentary mini pumpkin, and pig races! yes, there are some things that cost extra (a climbing wall, zip line, pumpkin cannon, and train ride), but you can choose to skip these and still have a fun-​filled visit. i could see a family w/​young kids spending the whole day at the farm w/​out getting bored. next time we will bring my nieces. =)

Too many people at the fall festival hard to have fun with how packed it was. We did manage to have some fun not sure it was worth the $. Kids didn’t even get to pick the pumpkins at the patch due to the transport method my family and I were not getting in that thing, I’m not sure exactly what it was but I was offended. I still like this place just a lil disappointed.

This place has a little bit of charm and character, but not enough to draw us back. We’ve been here several times, but determined this year was our last. The admin. price doesn’t equal the experience. As others have said, you don’t get the bang for your buck. You pay to get in and then have to pay again to do practically anything. The pig racing is the best part (partly b/​c it’s one of the few free events), but even that wasn’t as good this year. If you don’t have kids, there isn’t much to do. In my opinion, visiting Honeysuckle Hill is not worth my time or money.

This place has some fun options, but overall, the experience flirts with rip-​off criteria and is run by staff who are foreign to good communication and organization (this coming from others I know, not just me). The people at admissions have little to no idea when special events are taking place and don’t exercise basic customer service practices. If something comes up, they don’t offer refunds or trade-​ins (which essentially is salt on the wound of their miscommunication and lack of organization). Trust me… you may read good reviews from others, but believe me: you don’t get any bang for your buck. It be good for casual fun, but as a group leader, it’s plain-ol’-frustrating.

Ok this was my first time here didn’t know what to expect except zip lining and it was awesome. The staff they have there is great friendly and very social so as your waiting to zip you can talk about what ever. They have 7 or 8 lines all very scenic. Check groupon or amazon for deals. They also have other stuff for kids in the fall.

Besides the 1:45 drive, this farm truly exceeded my expectations. From the clean parking area, the fantastic signage, affordability, spotless restrooms, safety and upkeep of the play area, this was a day well worth taking to attend with a large home school bunch.
Our tour started out with a cheerful tour guide. She directed us into the fenced animal area. Bring a handful of quarters if you’d like to feed the animals. After ample time with the animals, we were given a hay ride on one of the sturdiest and longest flatbeds (similiar to a tractor trailer length and width) on a safe slow ride around the property. After exiting there, getting a bathroom break, and getting some refreshments, we were then escorted over to the educational area where we had about a :25 «class» on plants and photosynthesis. *Home school requirement met.
From there the kids were hungry, so we ate in one of the large pavilions. There wasn’t any problem with finding seating. In fact, I dare to say with the 2 covered pavilions I saw, there must have been close to 100 picnic tables to choose from.
TIPS: Take your water bottles with you around the grounds. Snack bar available or you may bring your own. Bring quarters if you’d like to feed the animals. Admission with the big group was $ 7 per person. Parking was free. Check their website for hours of operation.

I’m actually writing a review for the farm’s new Treetop Canopy Zip Line Tour. My future husband and I went yesterday and had the BEST time. From the moment we got there until the moment our tour ended, we felt that our safety was the #1 priority, which was great considering that jumping off of a platform is not exactly an action that puts your mind at ease. However, it turns out that flying through the trees on a zip line IS as fun as it sounds.
Above all, the crew at the farm were friendly and efficient — we’re definitely looking forward to returning to the zip line and to going to the events offered during their fall festival.

This is a great way to spend a saturday or sunday in the fall! They have a pumpkin patch, pet and feed-​able farm animals, giant slides, a hayride, PIG RACES, and a corn maze in the form of giant Johnny Cash’s FACE! so so great. One flaw: for a place that specializes in pumpkin patches, theirs was really small/​limited, though i ended up with 2 great ones for $ 4 a piece in the end, so no harm/​foul. Tons of good kid-​stuff, and pretty darned fun for big-​kids too (ahem, me). They even take credit cards at the farm store, where you can buy all manner of gourds, cider by the cup, and lots of other home made goodies. This was a truly lovely and cheap way to spend a fall day.
