The customer service at this property is above and beyond. We had 3 rooms with 10 ppl show up after a long day of traveling. Inga greeted us with warm cookies for everyone. That was a huge hit for all the teenage boys that we had with us. Later in the evening we had two young boys that ended up being sick as dogs. Inga made at least 4 trips to our rooms with rags, fresh linens, cleaning supplies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Sprite, waters, etc. She was so kind and helpful. This is an older hotel but it is very clean. The entire staff were so kind to all of us. We will definitely stop here when traveling again. Thank you!

The staff here is courteous, accomodating and helpful and are in no way tied to my review score. I’ve stayed in four different Hampton Inn’s in four different states over the past two weeks. Each were nice with the majority of the usual Hampton levels of service in place. The Springfield location is a nose dive. The room was fine, clean with a comfortable bed and the usual in-room amenities. The problem comes down to NOISE. There were no rowdy people here, it’s just that the walls are paper thin. At 1am I could here the soft conversation people were having several rooms away. Had a snorer a couple doors down… it felt like they were in our room. Every sound in this hotel pounds through the walls and sadly, we were on the top floor near the end of the hall where sound was easily at a minimum compared to the rest of the hotel. Hampton Inn’s are a favorite of mine but this location falls off due to the overwhelming noise due to poor construction. Disappointed.

On a trip to Alabama we broke down close to Springfield. The Hampton Inn was the only respectable hotel with a room available. The front desk staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was efficient. The breakfast was ok. The woman ‘cooking’ and keeping the breakfast bar stocked was very pleasant. The food wasn’t great, but the cookies make up for anything missing from the breakfast! Thank you to the hampton inn for making our car trouble experience more pleasant than it could have been!

You really need to reconsider your policy of not stocking noncarbonated beverages in your vending machines. Some kids do not like them and having a stack of vitamin water and other drinks at the check in desk ONLYFORGOLDMEMBERS is inconsiderate. I was even willing to pay the vending machine price for one. BIGBIGFAIL!!! I’ll take my business elsewhere next time.
