I’ve been massaging people as far back as I can remember. Twenty-​four years ago, I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy, and have never looked back. I was trained in Riverside, California and have been licensed in the State of Oregon since 1998.

I started out massaging my mother at age 6 or 7 (when I was able to reach her back when she sat down). I received my first professional massage in my early 20s and was inspired by that massage therapist. Several years later I found myself in California, attending massage school. I have had several jobs not related to massage since then, but have always returned to massage. Once I was licensed in Oregon in 1998, I had massaged people periodically, keeping my licensing and schooling current, and in 2011 I decided to go full time as a massage therapist. A Chinese proverb states «love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life» and that is exactly how I view massage. It is a labor of love and I believe it is my calling.
