Business Owner

Rick is a Vietnam combat veteran and is an NRA-​Certified Law Enforcement Instructor in Pistol and Shotgun, as well as an NRA Trainer in Basic Pistol, Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, and Home Firearm Safety.

Rick is an NRA Chief Range Safety Officer and a Glock Factory-​Certified Armorer. Rick is certified by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification to teach the Utah Concealed Carry Course. He has worked as an investigator for Chicagoland Detective Services, with whom he collaborates on the state-​licensed 40-​hour Illinois Armed Security Course.

Rick is also a licensed attorney and formerAssistant State’s Attorney, making him uniquely qualified among firearm instructors in his ability to instruct students in the various legal aspects of gun ownership and self defense. Rick is a Life Member of the NRA.
