History

Established in 1996.

With over 30 years experience as a horseman, and 20 years training Gaited horses professionally, I have the unique skill set needed to help your horse, or Gaited mule to reach his full potential. We practice natural horsemanship techniques, and believe that each equine is different, and as such, must be treated so. We assess each animal for natural talent and potential, and help them reach it. We specialize in Gaited animals, but will train all breeds.

Business Owner

Burl is a native of these Ozark Mountains, having been raised on a small horse farm in the community of Arroll, Mo. It has been his life long passion to be the best horseman he can. He has spent the last 30+ years studying and learning the behavior of horses, and herd dynamics, in order to put these into practical application when training a horse.

Although trail riding, and pleasure horses are his main focus, Burl has shown competitively on the FOSH, MATWHA, and TWHBEA circuits in MD, and PA.

As a horseman, and trainer, Burl is dedicated to bringing you the best in sound, safe, gaited training, using the methods he’s learned over the many years working with and studying these proud, graceful animals.
