Established in 1994.

Owner Bonnie Woolsey started in the appliance business in 1987

first selling the parts, than the appliances.

After working for someone else and not always happy how the business was run, she decided that she would start All American Appliance Service Inc.

It is rewarding to have a dream and see it come true, which takes hard work and dedication, as well as never forgetting why she started the business. for the customer.

As a mother of two boys, you struggle with making sure you remain committed to both your family and your business.

Being a women owned business in a male dominated trade, I find it rewarding that I am respected in the field, and that my company is respected. This tells me that I am doing the right thing.

At the end of the day I lke to feel good about what I do and that I can make a positive impact in someones live. Owning All American Appliance has been nothing but a very rewarding experience.

And I am greatful to the people, customer and employees who have help me with my dream.

We used All American twice for our washer and refrigerator. Both times, Mark was able to repair the problems that Sears was unable to fix. Price is reasonable, service is great! We recommend All American to our friends and neighbors.

My freezer started with some very serious ice build-​up earlier this year that required me to clean it out weekly or else deal with water all over my kitchen’s hardwood floors. I finally got around to getting it fixed and I chose to call All American Appliance Service after reading good reviews on Angie’s List. I called and was easily able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me. Waleed was the tech who showed up. He diagnosed the problem and was able to get to fixing it right away. I didn’t pay close attention but I think he was in and out within about 45 minutes. He also did a nice job cleaning up around where he did the work which I appreciated. So far it has been 3 days and there has been zero ice build up so I think the fix is good to go. I would call on them again if I ever need something else.

My washer stopped working and I called this company on a Saturday and left a message. My call was returned within a few hours and I was given an appointment of the following Tuesday between 11am-​2pm. Come Tuesday, Corey called around 11 am to let me know he was enroute with a 20 minute eta. He did come when he said he would, he assessed the situation, found the problem and repaired it within a very short amount of time. He was professional and down to earth. He even gave us a discount for letting them know we found them online. Overall, the cost of repair was less than 1⁄3 of what we were expecting.
I would definitely use this company again.

Outstanding service.
I found All-​American service to be outstanding in every way, from my first call to set up an appointment to the service call and repair call made by Waleed, who was knowledgeable, thorough, courteous, and 100% reliable. Everyone said and did what was expected. My stove burners were repaired and a new seal put on one of my ovens. The oven temps. were checked. What more could I ask for? They are great.

I started with my Angie’s List search many months ago when the fridge started to act up. Bonnie was quick to reply to emails and answer questions. Due to work travel and family I could not schedule the work, and I hoped it would not need repair.
After sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas the fridge finally gave out. I emailed Bonnie and scheduled an appointment in the next opening, Waleed the service tech showed up on time, called ahead as they promised. He was here about 10 – 20 mins, determined the problem and said he would order part. Part came in I scheduled the install with Bonnie for today. Again they said he would call 30 mins before arriving. He did call and came as promised.
Waleed the service tech was very nice, helpful and pleasant to talk with. The fridge came on right away as he said it would and seems to be cooling fine now. He said to call if I had problems. So hopefully I will not have to call, but if there is a problem I am sure they will be on top of it.
I cant say enough about them, I prefer emails vs calling and Bonnie was very responsive via email. Waleed who determined the problem and then installed the new part was great to talk with, knowledgeable and has a positive attitude (which is great to see) I work in sales and with a lot of people and it difficult to keep the smile on your face and positive attitude as he did. Thanks to Waleed and Bonnie.

Seriously annoyed.
I called them on a Friday, told them exactly what the problem was, exactly what the part was. They sent out a technician to check, who said I was right, they needed to order the part, and that it would be in between 2 – 5 business days. They did not call back to let me know that the part was on back order, so when I called THEM, they told me it would be another week and scheduled me «for Thursday.» They did not give me a time.
Having still no idea when they’d get there, I went into work early on Thursday and was home by 11, since last time it was 12 – 4. Evidently they’d called while I was at work to say they were there (with again, no time). When I called back within 20 minutes, I was told that it was too late, and they could schedule me for another week out. Oh, and that I was wrong and they ALWAYS tell people a time (I assure you, they certainly did not). An according to Unilocal,I’m NOT the only one who was not told a time, and the woman on the phone was nasty about it.
With zero apology for the inconvenience — or even admission that they made a mistake — I was then told that this was entirely my fault. We are now looking at going on several weeks to fix a washing machine pump. Evidently I’m fortunate that they can come back… in another week.
ETA: It’s hilarious that the owner of this business came on to announce that she is right and her customers are wrong.

Never again.
The technician told me that he was unable to find a replacement for a range fuse and even suggested to maybe buy a new one. I decided to find the fuse myself, so I looked under the range and I was able to find pretty easy the model and took me 3 minutes to call Broan (manufacture) with the Model No and get the fuse part no. They told me I can actually find this fuse in any Home Depot or order it with them and get it by mail. I was very disappointed by this company. They also charge for the visit and were rude over the phone.

I have only good things to say about All American Appliance. I’ve used them twice and both times, I first contacted a popular company with trucks and vans all over the place but their quote/​service fees were astronomical. All American was ready to go both times — once for my dryer and another time for my fridge.
Not only was All American Appliance affordable — but they were responsive and personable. They came out to the house quickly, diagnosed and repaired the problem efficiently and addressed all of my questions. The fee they quote is fair and very fair when you look at the work they do.

I’m very satisfied with this company. I called them to clean my dryer out. They gave me a 9 – 12 window and the technician called me right at 9 and gave me a 10 min heads up.
He had my dryer apart in minutes, did what he said he was going to do, answered my general questions, explained things in a conversational manner and even offered up honest advice about some of my other appliances.
I will call them again.

We scheduled an appointment to get our dishwasher repaired or if necessary so it would be replaced. The company informed us only that the technician would be here before 12noon and we would receive a call 15 minutes prior to then arriving. We both took off time from work and were busy cleaning the area so the tech would be able to work without too much restriction due to the mess created from the broken dishwasher. The office opens at 8:30am so we were surprised when we noticed the tech had called before 8am. I called the company at 8:30 because they aren’t open before then so we had to wait. The response we got is that the tech has moved on to Fairfax and we must reschedule for next week.
We were never given a window start time so we are disappointed with this companies poor communication for the appointment time. All that was said to us is the tech would be here before noon. With this logic I suppose the tech could call around 6am and not successfully reach us because we didn’t keep watch of any calls before the office open times. This unprofessional loop hole is the kind of business we don’t solicit. We’ve attempted to discuss this with the woman who answered the phone but she was not receptive to the situation. We will not support this company in the future. This is a company issue, not a tech issue so cannot speak about how competent their techs are but would hope good techs reconsider affiliation with a company that has poor customer service practices.

I have used them for several years now and could not be happier with their service. They are prompt, friendly, polite and excellent technicians. They were quick to diagnose and fix the problem and their rates are very reasonable. They have worked on my Whirlpool refrigerator, GE dishwasher, and Kenmore clothes dryer.
There is another company out there with the same name that gives poor service and charges exorbitant rates for it. i had recommended the «good» company to a friend and she inadvertently called the one that was stealing their identity. Boy was she mad at me!!!

All American Appliance Services — the REAL one and not the identity thieves — are excellent. They came twice to give our troublesome fridge a thorough once-​over (twice-​over?). Even though they recommended a new fridge the first time, they did not charge for the second visit to investigate further and exhaust all alternatives (incidentally, they would have been able to repair the problem, but against their own interests they actually recommended not wasting any more money/​effort on the current fridge). They were prompt, attentive, and reassuring. They were able to get us on the schedule fairly quickly. Each engineer called to let us know when he was close by so I could leave the office and meet him at our house. The second engineer gave us a great education on how to buy our next fridge which left us more empowered. I would hire them again and have recommended them to our neighbors.

Have used this company twice and both times I thought the price/​performance ratio was great. This last time I had a dryer which had a door switch break and a dishwasher which was clogged and needed some minor repair. Parts had to be ordered –but as soon as they arrived they were able to meet me at the condo and the fix went smoothly. I got All American as a recommendation from a neighbor in my building, and I would definitely call them again. Their technician said he had worked for Whirlpool for several years and seemed to know my dishwasher like the back of his hand.

Agree with Bob J. review, horrible service.
All American arrived at our home to fix an intermittent problem with our washing machine seizing up. Technician removed some socks, a pair of underwear and part of a membership card from the machine and got the machine moving. We started a load in the washer, things seemed to be fine, the technician departed.
The «fix» lasted all of ¾ of a load of laundry before the same problem reoccured. All American’s response is that they would send someone out two days later on a work day afternoon which means we have to take half day off of work (they only make appointments for «morning» or «afternoon» with a call 15 minutes prior).
Instead of making things right, they create more problems.

I have been in the appliance business for over 15 years and have never received the level of service that All American Appliance Serivce Inc. gave to me. Bonnie did all of the necessary research and ordered the parts we needed to take care of a time sensitive repair for a client of ours. Not only did she take the time to work with me, but she coordinated the service call with my client. I would highly recommend Bonnie and her crew for all of your appliance repair needs.
