Best place for REAL mexican food! I got the wet burrito with steak and it was delicious. My husband got the menudo &6 tacos. He got three different meats but I can’t remember what they were. My kiddo got the gordita with season pork meat. He loved it. He normally gets the sopes. Alway we all love the horchata which is a rice drink with cinnamon. It kind of a sweet drink. Definitely worth a try.

We really like their food and used to love eating here. But have ordered takeout and were charged and given food that we did not order so called and spoke with Tony about it and he said he would replace our order at another time since it was just wasted. He informed me that when I came in I would need to let them know I spoke with him and that they could call him. We have ordered takeout again and I called to try to place an order and was on hold for over 15 minutes before I even hung up. My husband was able to get to the restaurant and place the order before they ever picked the phone back up and I heard him in the background ordering. I just went back in to try to get the food replaced since it was the first chance I had and they refused to do it saying Tony was not there and I had to come back when he was there. So that was a huge waste of my time. So although your food might taste great if you can’t have good customer service and understand your customers then I’m not going to give you my business and will not recommend other to either.

This place was amazing. Best cheese dip I’ve ever had, and my chimichanga was the size of my head. Get anything with chicken!

Let me start this off by saying I’ve eaten at this place at least 20 times. I always come back to it because, yeah, it’s not the prettiest place to eat at but the food rocks and the service is great! So, the interior of this place cannot hold very many people. It’s pretty small and it’s an older joint. I’ve came here with a group of 15 before and we took up pretty much half of the place if that gives you a hint. It’s really small, but I always see a ton of people coming in to get food to go. So, that’s really saying something. People love their food because it’s pretty damn delicious. Their cheese dip is really thick and it has a flavor I can’t find at any other local spots. It’s hella good, I recommend if you’re a cheese-dip fiend. They have glass bottle Mexican Coke if that’s your thing, like it is mine. Yum! I tend to get either the taco de asada or quesadilla. The portions are right for the price. The cheese, meat, and veggies are always fresh. The quesadilla is not dripping with oil like some places, it’s clean and good to eat. ;) The food is cooked to order while you wait. I’ve never waited more than 10 – 15 minutes for my order; even with a big group it’s not been over 20. The prices are cheap. I can get in and out of here with a full belly for under $ 10. Anyway– yes Unilocal, you keep suggesting I review this place because I come here a lot… So here’s why I come here a lot– good food, cheap prices, sweet and courteous service. Those are the reasons why I’ll continue coming back.

I’ve lived in Texas for nearly 30 years and I feel like I know a thing or two about tacos. When I’m visiting family in Springdale I always hit up Taqueria Guanajuato for a legit taco fix. Great food and really super-nice people.

Good and fast. Only downside is the lack of parking. When they’re busy(which is always) you’ll have to park somewhere else.

This little gem has ruined us for all other Mexican restaurants. There is literally not one item on the menu that is not excellent. If pressed I would say the Carnitas(marinated pork) is the best in any form with the carne asada a close second. The guacamole is chunky, fresh and filled with cilantro and the chips always freshly made. LOVE.

Fantastic service, FANTASTIC food! Loved the horchata, chicken quesadilla, nopales quesadilla, alambra gordita, pork tamale, chicken soft tacos, rice and beans. I’m a gordita now! I’m coming back, and next time I’ll be hungry when I arrive.

This is as close as it gets to a real taqueria around here. I am from Northern California where the super burrito was invented and arguably the best Mexican food is served(definitely per capita) and Taqueria Guanajuato gets it. Carne Asada is a go to and they make a great super burrito.

You can’t ask for better authentic Mexican food and the price is so low. We asked for some extra avocado and we were brought HALF of an avocado at no extra charge. Our party ordered 4 different things with different meats and they were all phenomenal. They were all loaded with quality ingredients. Personally, I would highly recommend the sopes with extra lime. Don’t be intimidated to stop by if you are not a spanish speaker. They have pictures to assist you in choosing what to order and they are very nice! Do yourself a favor and stop here!

I love me some tacos; there’s no hiding that! Al pastor(marinated pork) had the best flavor out of the 5 meats we tried here. Huaraches were massive so share the love. Verde salsa was yummy! I recommend pouring the whole bottle all over your plate like I did(on accident … Check the lids). Ha! Staff were super welcoming of us Mediocre Spanish speakers!

I had an awesome dinner(tacos asada loaded with onions, cilantro and salsa verde). The counter person and waitress were friendly and helpful as I decided on my meal. Try this place – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! The quality and price are great.

Decent food. The resturant style is a typical small place you would see in LA anyway, so that didn’t bother us. The Caldo de Camarón was delicious! Pastor tacos were nice — a bit salty. Carnita tacos, carne asada torta were okay. Posole was also decent but can use a bit more spice & I like cabbage(typical) instead of lettuce in mine. My mother-in-law is a great cook so we’re critical. Not mom’s cooking but his comes pretty close. I would come back and ck the other items out.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have EVER eaten at. Seriously, it is as legit as they come! The menu was in Spanish and has translations, the prices are incredibly cheap for a huge amount of food. I bet there isn’t a bad thing on this menu because it is all so authentic!!!
