Having just been to Chicago and eaten all week on Devon Street, I wasn’t willing to go no-Indian for too much longer. The cravings came back hard, man. So I looked up R&R and made my husband go in with me at 4:30 two days before Thanksgiving. We both got tikka masala; me, chicken and he, shrimp. Just like I like it, making my eyeballs sweat. Hot and fresh and the naan is beautiful. Atmosphere was great with the Indian MTV playing in the background! Alllll the dancing. Lucky to have a good Indian joint so close to Siloam. Will be back.

Love, love, love this place. Everything I’ve had is delicious, including samosas, butter chicken, tikka marsala, and the wraps. The building is small, but the atmosphere is quaint and the staff is very friendly.

I have had goat and eggplant dishes here. Goat curry was really good but the Baingan Bhartha was not the way i expected, it was ok. I would like to visit again to try new dishes and will update my review. For now 3 star. Service was attentive and atmosphere was nice.

Super friendly staff and delicious Indian food. I love that all the entrees are served with rice AND naan. Usually you have to order naan separate at an additional charge. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and dal made with black lentils(I can’t remember the name but it’s number 22). The food came out pretty quick and was full of flavor. We had plenty to bring home for leftovers which is awesome because Indian food gets better the longer the spices meld. I also ordered a chai and it tasted most like the chai I had while in Calcutta so I highly recommend trying it for an authentic experience :) can’t wait to go back for more!

Go here for great food, but not for the ambiance — typical strip mall. However, it is cool to see the black and white video screen with live stream of the tandoor oven — you can see the Naan being slapped against the clay wall over flames, then removed with metal hooked rods. It’s then brought to your table hot, fresh, and delicious. Sometimes quite crowded; we notice many people come in for to go orders. The food is made fresh so takes a few minutes, but it’s worth it. I asked the waiter for a suggestion and he said the Malai Kofta is very popular. I ordered it spicy and it was so good that now I don’t even want to try anything else.(Make sure at least one person in your group gets it so you can try it!) The others I’ve gone with feel the«medium» is spicy enough for their dishes. We love this restaurant and every time the food has been wonderful. Only wish there was an R&R in Fayetteville!

Phone mobile review Went there for dinner with the kids. Décor is cheap but very clean. I never like TVs in restaurants especially at dinner! Can’t anyone just go out and enjoy old fashioned conversation without a TV on? Anyway, the food was better than the other Indian restaurants in the area. My son had chicken tikka masala. It was good but the sauce to chicken ratio was off. More chicken please! My daughter and I had the mixed grill. It was very good but we were brought a very small bowl of rice for a huge sizzling«fajita“sized cast iron pan piled high with sausage, meats, and shrimp. The dish was $ 21 – 23 and when I asked for another bowl of rice our waiter said $ 2 more. I swear the bowl only held 2⁄3 c rice. Do you know how cheap rice is? I didn’t appreciate the«nickle and diming». Rice should be thrown in to get through the meal at least to enjoy the abundance of sauce vs chicken. Samosas were good. Naan was 1.00 extra for them to smear ½ garlic clove on it. Probably get take out and make my own Indian rice next time. There’s a great recipe called Baked Indian Rice on the Epicurious. Com

Disappointed. Small servings. Expensive. And rude. E-San is better and cheaper and you get more food. And that’s saying something because E-San wasn’t my favorite… 3 stars because their sweet bread was delicious.

I was so excited to get some Indian food closer to Fayetteville. The service was excellent and attentive. I believe I had the kalai kofti or something like that. Everything tasted DIVINE. The sauce hit all my sweet spots. My only complaint is the portion size for the cost was very disproportionate. I was also automatically given the dinner portion at lunch time for some reason without being asked. Outside of that I really enjoyed it.

I have been here a couple times and the food is good and the service is excellent. My biggest gripe is the value. The portions are very small for the price and you only get one piece of naan per dish.

Our family tried a variety of dishes, all of which we shared. Starting with the naan and appetizers, the non-was very good, good texture and very tasty. We recommend the garlic naan. The other appetizers were delicious. The R&R curry special was very good and nicely seasoned, that one was ordered with maximum heat and this was very good. The goat dish was absolutely delicious and well flavored. All in all out of six dishes not one was a dud. Very flavorful and wall spiced across the board. It makes me wonder what happened to the dishes of a couple of the other reviewers Who commented that their food was bland. Most of the meals range from $ 12-$ 15

I’ve been here at least 4 or 5 times now. Every time the food has been excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala is wonderful! The Bengan Chicken and Butter Chicken were equally tasty. We also had Mango Chicken which had a light sweetness to it. We were worried that it might be too sweet but wanted to try something new. It was perfect. It’s hard to say what my favorite dish is because everything we’ve had was wonderful. Mango Lassi was a very tasty drink. I believe the dessert we tried was Gulab Jamun. It was served cold with a syrup. I think it would have been better had it been warm but we were told it’s traditionally served cold. After writing this review I’m now craving Naan. I may have to run out and pick up something from here for supper.

I had the same experience as the last reviewer. My chicken curry wasn’t good. The curry was bad since they used milk instead of coconut milk. I know because it was lumpy and I tried to make it with milk at home before. It was expensive and you get hardly any food. SORRY I WASSOEXCITEDTOHEARABOUTTHISPLACE. Very disappointed!!! Won’t eat here again!

Summary: food is okay, atmosphere is pretty crummy, price is way to expensive. Went to dinner with my wife and three kids. We all love Indian food and we’re excited to see an option closer to home. My wife had a goat curry, she said it was fine. I had the butter chicken — didn’t taste good at all. My son had the Tikka Masala — it was pretty good. My other two kids ordered the chicken 65 — it was pretty good. The service was fine, they were happy to go through the menu with my wife and prepare her a dairy free dish. All of the portion sizes were very small, which was fine except the average price per dish was $ 15 which is about twice what I would have expected to pay for the portion size. The atmosphere was pretty plain. One step up from folding table and chairs. I probably will not be back.

I was thankful to see this place open just across the street from where I work. I told my wife about it and we decided to come on a weekend. When we arrived, we were told we could sit anywhere. We chose a spot and our drink order was taken immediately by a nice man. We put in an appetizer order for vegetable samosa and began to read the menu. It was all fairly familiar stuff for an Indian restaurant. One thing I noticed is that they have a camera directly on the tandoori oven, which is fed to a flat screen in the dining area. That’s a pretty cool touch. The samosa arrived after a short while. My wife and I both thought it was pretty good. She liked it better than Flavors, although I thought it was about the same. We tried placing our order with the same guy that took our drink and appetizer order, but apparently he’s just the host. He went to get someone else to take our order. She was… well, kind of slow. Not physically, but I get the feeling she didn’t comprehend English that was spoken at a normal pace. Not a huge deal, but I did have to ask more than a couple of times if food was served communally(typical of Indian food) or if it came individual. After saying it a few times, she said they could serve it however. I didn’t care but it would help in ordering. We ended up going with chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic naan. We ordered mild because my wife doesn’t like really spicy food and we had our 6 year old with us. I like my food spicy but I’m not real picky in that regard. It took a while for the food to come out. That’s fine, though. I kind of expected it because it’s been that way at just about every Indian place I’ve been to where I ordered from a menu. When our food arrived, I immediately noticed that the butter chicken gravy had a color that was not typical of the dish(from my experience). It was pink. I didn’t care because it’s all about how something tastes. Well… it didn’t have a taste. In fact, none of the food did. It was all incredibly bland. You’re probably thinking to yourself, «You ordered it mild!» You’d be right. However, that doesn’t mean it should be void of any flavor. Even the naan had ZERO flavor. How is that possible with GARLIC naan? The flavors I have come to expect from Indian food(not spice, but actual flavor and even aroma) were non-existent. The gravy in the butter chicken actually had a runny texture. I get the feeling that it was very watered down. Butter chicken gravy should be thick. Or at least thicker than water. The biryani… well, it was there. No flavor at all. None. After the samosa, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I was let down. The other Indian places I’ve had locally simply put this place to shame. I don’t think this place offers a very good value for the money considering the food quality. It hasn’t been open that long, so I’ll give it a few more weeks and go back for lunch with some work friends. Maybe I’ll be more impressed or, at least, satisfied. I’ll update this review when I go back. Also, aside from the host(who also filled drinks and bussed tables) the rest of the staff was kind of unfriendly. That left the service just being ok. I did feel a little like they thought I should appreciate being in their place of business instead of the other way around. I don’t need a parade… but how about a smile? The place was clean, so there is that. The host cleaned a table right next to us while we were still there. The smell of the cleaner was quite strong so I’d recommend they delute it a bit. They sure deluted my butter chicken gravy.
