We provide comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, co-​management of laser vision correction surgery, caring for eye emergencies and so much more. The optometrist in our Practice provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages including treatment for a range of conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, cataracts and macular degeneration.

Eyes are important indicators of overall health and comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. At Vision Discovery, we take the time to get to know you, your eye care history and your vision needs. Our optometrist provides the expert care, advice, options and follow up you need whether you are a new patient or an existing one.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Dr. April Oliver was born and raised in Mesquite, TX. She earned her Bachelor degree in Biology from the University of North Texas. She later completed her Doctorate in Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry.

Dr. Oliver enjoys participating in local charities, including See to Succeed and Klein ISD Vision Outreach Program, which provide free eye exams and glasses to hundreds of deserving children in the Houston

metroplex.

While providing comprehensive eye care to patients, she is also certified in treating many ocular diseases, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Her special interests include Dry Eye Syndrome, Lasik and Cataract surgery co management and specialty contact lens fittings (multifocal, prosthetic, keratoconus, and post surgical).

Dr. Oliver enjoys spending time with her husband, running, fishing, reading, camping, skiing, biking, traveling, golfing, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
