I have gotten 5+ massages here and have referred many friends because this spa offers the cheapest massages around. The quality never disappoints as I’ve seen two therapists consistently. It is clean and everyone is professional. The location is appealing too! If you are looking for a great massage spa, this place will not disappoint.

Got a gift card for this place for Mother’s Day and I finally got a chance to use it two years later. I must say I have not reviewed a professional massage in a long time and I was not let down. I booked my appointment online and I arrive in the door 10 minutes early. I had to of course fill out a little paperwork about myself and what type of massage I wanted. I got the most expensive massage, which included two types if shower massage, two types of facials and two types of massages As soon as I was finished they took me right back. My massager explained everything to me in the beginning and whenever he was about to do something. Before every touch he told me, as to not make anything awkward or uncomfortable.
I would recommend this place to anyone. I am thinking about getting a plan so I can go back often.

I was able to book an appt online which was great and simple. They have a very small waiting area. I felt rushed into my appointment, even though I was 20 minutes early. The massage was mediocre at best I honestly get better massages at the mall. The weird part was the masseuse said some odd things that were almost insulting. I don’t think she even realized it she was older and didn’t speak English very well. I probably won’t be coming back here, you get what you pay for !

June 25, 2015 was my second time coming to this place and both times were great experiences. I took advantage of the awesome June special (Urban Getaway Spa Package). It consisted of a luxurious table shower with a body scrub and hot clay body mask, a facial, and classic massage. The package totaled $ 125 which was well worth every penny. It was so relaxing!!! My therapist was Carlos and he was very professional and considerate of my comfort levels. Great experience overall and I will be returning, especially if they’re offering another great spa package :)

Edith is an angel sent from masseuse heaven. At 28 weeks pregnant, I went for my first prenatal massage. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I walked out feeling refreshed and relieved. It was wonderful. I’ve been having a lot of pain in my back (pregnancy is super fun) and she helped melt a lot of it away. I also just so happened to sleep much better that night and I fully attribute that to my massage!
She started by having me lay on my left side. I requested she focus on my shoulders and lower back/​hips and she did a great job balancing the time between those areas and everywhere else. After working my upper body, she moved down to my leg (thigh and calf) and finally my foot! Then she had me flip so she could repeat with the other side. Fantastic.
Highly recommend Edith but if they’re all as sweet and professional as she is, you’ll be in good hands no matter who you get. Customer service was also helpful and polite. Clean establishment, calm ambiance, fairly punctual, and overall a luxurious experience. I would recommend to a friend, no doubt.

This might not be one of the best massages I’ve ever had but it’s definitely in the top 5. The value for the price is very good. A one hour classic massage will cost $ 39 while most places start at $ 50 or $ 55. Most of the therapists I’ve gotten were very good. You can always tell them if you want more pressure, less pressure, what areas to focus etc. Although for some reason, I always end up being sore afterwards even though I always specify I want light pressure.
The facility is clean and the rooms are simple but relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to people. The best thing about it are the prices.

Definitely not the best message I’ve ever received. Most people go for a back massage, where my person focused mostly on arms and legs. After my extremity massage she lift my head to a full upright position putting strain on my lower back. I also came out smelling like a grandmaw, so I needed to go home directly after to shower.

Maria is the best, but she doesn’t work on Fridays, so Edith took care of me today & was just as wonderful! Felt so relaxed I walked down the sidewalk to go get a mani/​pedi at another location when I was done!

I enjoyed my massage. You can’t beat the price. The only complaint I have is that my tech was talking entirely too much.

When you walk in, it looks bare and needs more decorations and furniture. There were no magazines to read either. (No biggie)
I got to the room for my massage and changed. It threw me off that there really was not a great place to put my clothes, etc. All they had in the room was a coat hanger (with about 6 hooks) affixed to the back of the door. I am used to their being something like an ottoman where i can put my things.
I started my deep tissue massage with Sandra. She was very professional and used firm pressure like i had requested. I asked her to work on a certain part of my back and she spend a majority of the time working on it. She did great! She only spoke when i asked her a question, which is nice because i want to relax and not talk.
The atmosphere was good with the music and lighting. The room was cold, and the table i was laying on was not heated like other places so when she uncovered a part of me it was a little uncomfortable. It got better when she started massaging.
When i left she asked if I wanted a water, and she came back with a paper cup of water. (I was expecting bottled water)
I can say i will definitely be back to see Sandra. She did an amazing job and really loosened me up.
Even though their were less luxuries that other places, what can you expect from a $ 40 massage? The massage was so good that it made up for everything else.

Probably one of the best if not the best massages I’ve ever had! Edith, my therapist, was extremely professional and very kind. I prefer a really firm massage and she delivered! By the time I left I felt so relaxed :) and the best part is, for the first time in years I can lay flat on my back without pain. I will definitely be back! Amazing service and an amazing value. I’m incredibly satisfied.

My husband surprised me with a day at the Spa and I was highly impressed!!! Loved everything about it and my therapist was Aidee and she was perfect. She didn’t talk too much, she was great with the massage and body clay and facial. I loved the environment and it was very clean. I will definitely return and recommend it to all my friends. They sure won me over!!! GREAT Spa!!!

I treated a friend and myself to a Classic Massage and the Salt Scrub and body Mud Mask. They only had a Male and Female available at the hour that we reserved. My friend being a total «He-​Man», did not want a Male Tech to work on him; so I took the male Alvaro and my friend took the female Aidee. Aidee looked a little uncomfortable as my friend does look a bit intimidating… and I’m sure she assumed that she’d be taking care of me. LOL
Alvaro was very polite and professional. I did list that I did not want my neck worked on, but he either did not review my chart or forgot. It was OK, I didn’t correct him.
The Zen music was relaxing. The room was not too hot or too cold. The Rain Shower felt awesome and my Tech made sure the water temp was to my satisfaction.
Be extra careful walking in the Spa Slippers. They are super slippery while walking on their pristine clean floors.
The bathroom (Toilet) very clean, however; I did not see soap to wash my hands after i used the bathroom.
The prices are great!!! I wish they were in California!!! I’m telling everyone to check this place out. I loved it!!!

I was lured in by the positive Unilocal!reviews, the ULTRA CHEAP $ 39/​hour massage, and the easy online scheduling.
Needless to say, I adore this place. I got in for a Saturday afternoon (true story: they were completely booked out. I kept refreshing the scheduling page until someone cancelled and an open spot appeared!!!)
When I got there, they had me fill out some paperwork about medical history and areas I wanted to work on. My masseuse, Bertha, was wonderful. She wasn’t chatty like some of the other massage therapists I’ve had at other places. Anything she said was spoken in the quietest whisper, and it was mostly just directions (like flip over) and stuff.
I was slightly concerned since I hadn’t seen anyone mention Bertha’s services on Unilocal,but I didn’t need to be. She did an amazing job. My job is very labor-​intensive and it gets to the point where I can’t move my arms or bend over because my muscles are so knotted up. She worked out every darned knot! I felt like a huge load had been lifted off of my shoulders as I walked out. I definitely recommend this spa!

This place is awesome.. I went in a few weeks ago for a 1 hour massage with Gloria, she was fantastic. I liked it so much I booked The Journey spa package and had Karen, she was fantastic too! 3 hours of total bliss. I highly recommend.

This is a great place for athletes. The deep tissue mixed with stretching really improves my workouts and recovery. Very good maintenance. I recommend Denia.

My friend treated me to a hot rock massage, and boy was it amazing. 75 minutes of pure bliss.
I had Gloria, who I highly recommend. She started out by putting the rocks between my toes, which I think set the stage for the perfect massage.
This was my first massage and it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere of the place and attitudes of everyone there is appropriate for a spa, they just set the tone for a great experience, and were professional as well.
Gloria was very knowledgeable as she asked questions and explained what she would do. She made me feel very comfortable.
Then came the hot rocks and oil, sigh…
The experience was even better than I imagined, and I felt great leaving there. So relaxed. I felt like she worked out years of stress. I will definitely try to do this from now on, and highly recommend this place.

My first visit to Urban Day Spa, walked out of there a new and relaxed person! I was tensed up from a very stressful month at work. My shoulders were so tensed up, was unable to sleep at night. After my massage, I slept like a baby.
Arriving at the spa, first impression was nice. The receptionist was very friendly, the spa itself was very clean and smelled nice. Just sitting in the receptionist area, listening to the soothing music, put me in a relaxed mood.
I was greeted by my masseuse, Lili, and shown to the room. She introduced herself and before beginning the massage, we discussed what areas I wanted her to focus on, my shoulders and back with medium pressure.
The room itself was clean, dark, music playing through speakers and smelled nice. Before beginning the massage Lili made sure to tell me that if the pressure was ever too much, just to let her know and she would put less pressure. There was one point where I needed her to ease up, only because my back has been so tense and any little pressure would hurt like crazy, but she eased up and the rest of the massage was great!
I’m definitely making an appointment for my next massage and I’ll be taking my mom to enjoy the wonderful experience!

Got a prenatal massage here today. It was goooood!!! The place is clean, smells nice and is very decent. The lady who gave me the massage was very professional. She asked me about my target areas & worked on them. She wasn’t talkative but asked me if the pressure was comfortable. Her name is Lili & I’m definitely going to ask for her again.
In a nutshell… worth every penny & will go back again.

Went in there for the first time today. The environment was calm, simple, and relaxing. The place is clean and seems pretty new. I came in because they had the $ 39 deep tissue massage for 1 hour special.
I was shown to my room and the masseuse introduced herself to me and was really nice. We had a mini consultation for where I want to focus on and etc. The room was dark and simple, and had calming music playing through the intercom. There’s a little bag you can put all your belongings in.
My masseuse was Veronica and in my opinion, she has strong hands. I asked for medium pressure but it seemed like she gave me firm. I wanted to tell her to lighten up a bit but was afraid to disturb the mood.haha. The aroma and scent of the place was wonderful. She was really professional about everything
The place overall is clean, nice, and professional. I had a good time and was relaxed. I would definitely come back and try other treatments they have!
