«The Twisted Monkey» is Swahili for «The only bar to hang out at in Spring». You can’t compare it to the other establishments, the monkey has superior management, superior staff, superior patrons, and a MUCH nicer vibe. Don’t get me wrong, Moose is alright if you like the drama, Shifters is cool if you’re into stabbings, meth mouth’ed prostitutes, and gang bangers, The Spring Tavern is actually a great place but too far up from the heart of 1960 and to hell with that Salsa place.
You need to swing by, the food is good, the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the patrons are like a genuine little community, once you’re in, they’ll look out for you like you were one of their own. You can’t beat the place.

Best place to go for football. Jell-​O shots whenever Texans or Cowboys score, nice laid back neighborhood bar that is always CLEAN and has had a great remodel job. Free pool, pool tournaments and Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments too. Love the new owners!
