I drove in from Austin to shop here and it was so worth it! Tonya was so sweet and helpful! I had appointments at two other bridal stores but I found my dress here. Tonya was so amazing and obviously wasn’t trying to pressure me into spending as much money as possible– she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! The dress I ended up buying was one that I hadn’t pulled myself. She heard what I liked about dresses that I tried and pulled this one out for me… And it was PERFECT!!! Thanks Tonya!

While I didn’t end up getting my dress from here, I came very very close! This is an absolutely wonderful bridal store with a huge and gorgeous selection of dresses!!! I drove all the way from the Galleria area to this place (3 times) and it was well worth the drive.
I worked with the owner, Denise, who was incredibly patient and gracious with me and my family’s many questions and requests. She was always very responsive, friendly, and professional. I honestly wish I did find my dress here just because I really loved Denise so much, but some things aren’t meant to be I guess. Throughout the whole process and between my waffling back and forth between a dress here and a dress at another place, I never felt rushed nor pushed, and I am very appreciative of that. Thank you Denise for a wonderful experience.
For those living a little far, this place is definitely worth the drive. From the selection, to the very friendly salespeople, to the beautiful princess-​y décor, this is a wonderful place to get a dress for your big day!

Worse experience ever for the bride and bridesmaids!!! Don’t order from Denise at Princess bridal! They will get the wrong measurements, lie to your face when you know the real truth! They will NOT work with you as a customer. I had a bad experience unfortunately we had to order from them because they were the only store that has a sample of our bridesmaids dresses. Long story short I got measured wrong, dress came in didn’t fit, they tried to make me keep it or suggested I pay for a new one or go get it altered. I tried the place they recommended down the street from princess bridal and the man there said it couldn’t be altered. I come right back Denise then gets mad and calls the alteration guy (I think they work together recommending customers) he was actually scared of her. He didn’t want to be involved once I told him where I bought the dress. Okay so they end up bringing in a new dress from the back which was the size I needed and they said this is the same size you tried on before and it was big. I looked at the size and no way it wasn’t. The one I had originally tried on was a huuuuge sample and had to have pins on my back. They kept lying. I said whatever I need a new one because yall measured wrong. They made me pay for shipping $ 27 on top of the $ 200 I had already spent on the dress. In my opinion I shouldn’t be paying for someone else’s mistakes. Save your self some time and AVOID PRINCESS BRIDAl and DENISE! She is a liar and will scream raise her voice I had to tell her to raise my voice to tell her to stop and she said that was her regular voice. BS! She’s just a liar. What a mess so much happened its hard to write it all.
Just avoid this place. It’s unfortunate that the dresses are pretty but it’s not worth the headache.

I just bought my dress here today and the experience was great! It was my first time looking at wedding dresses and the entire time, it felt like a movie, it was so perfect. They have an intimate setting, so your experience is more unique and personalized. The lady helping me was so wonderful and sweet. I showed them a few dresses I liked on my phone and they pulled a bunch of dresses for me. They didn’t rush me at all either!

The day of my appointment I felt every rushed! I had done some research of the dress I wanted and I knew it was an older dress. I had picked up a few more just to make sure that the first dress I tried on was the dress for me. My consultant was nice but I felt like she was rushing me, she didn’t really let me try on any other dress but the one I had originally picked. Which kind of bugged me and I just wanted to leave. On the upside I found the dress I wanted and bought it and they were very nice letting me use my moms card over the phone. The owner had like an attitude the whole time something happened and I was there for like an hour trying to pay for the dress. After a while she was very nice towards me but i could tell she was very angry. I’m still kind of mad I haven’t received my dress when I paid more to get it rushed. Oh yea last thing they did not even take the time to put my whole look together. If I was not in such a hurry I would have not gone back to this bridal shop to buy my dress. I don’t know if it was because I was alone and I didn’t have my family with me, that they thought I wasn’t going to buy anything or because I look young but they didn’t give me the best customer service I was very disappointed.

I came here after I bought a dress at David’s Bridal that I just did not like. I was very honest with them that I had purchased a dress and that it wasn’t what I wanted and now I was there to get what I really wanted. I chose a small shop because I wanted a more personal experience in an intimate setting. I was very clear on the type of gown I wanted to try on and showed them my Pinterest page with gowns I liked, all one type. I even showed them the one I had already purchased and told them why I didn’t like the gown.
I was disappointed because I almost felt like I was being judged or not taken seriously because this was dress #2. They kept demanding, not just asking but demanding, to know why I didn’t like the first. WHAT about it wasn’t okay, etc. I felt like I was on trial. Instead of feeling like I was standing in a bridal shop waiting to drop several hundred more dollars on a new dress. I was pretty unhappy with their customer service but I did find one of the dresses I’d been eyeing and purchased it with a veil and a belt. All of which was WAY over the budget I’d set in my mind. But it was what I was looking for so I signed on the line and swiped my card.
I waited for the month they said it would be in and called to check the status. They were nice and called the manufacturer and called me back to say that it would be in within so many days and they’d call me. I never got the call but double checked because I’d made a pick-​up appointment. The gown had come in days prior and I just wasn’t called. It kind of bugged me but wasn’t a big deal. I went in to pick it up and again felt rushed and just like they were kind of rude. I was very early because I wanted to look at some other accessories before my session but I was immediately put in a room with the gown. I felt rushed and like it was more of the task of closing the sale out and being done with this customer, versus making me feel like it was another step I was taking that was putting me closer to my wedding. To me, I feel like the gown is one of, if not THE, most important parts of my wedding planning. I just feel like between the two shops it was a big let down and was frustrating. I’m very happy with my gown and the price is probably around what I would have paid anywhere else. I just feel like the customer service shouldn’t have such an edge. Especially when you’re a new client who hasn’t had any type of negative interactions with the staff.

I went to the princess bridal as my 10^th dress shopping experience so I wasn’t expecting to find anything on my first trip. They have a great selection of dresses despite but it wasn’t an overwhelming warehouse of dresses. Michelle listened to my feedback and quickly pulled 3 contender dresses which were all within budget. After I decided on «the one» and purchased it, they were willing to set up an appointment the next day for my mom to come up with me to see it in person. I will definitely be sending my friends up here when they are looking for a wedding dress! Their staff is friendly and helpful and really listen to what you tell them.

We had an excellent experience here! They had a beautiful selection of dresses! Was really impressed! Really appreciated the private dressing areas and all the attention from Denise! Found the dress here!

Went shopping with my sis-​in-​law here for her big day. Went other places but The Princess Bridal not only had the best selection of dresses but the staff was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. She ended up finding her dream dress here. Extremely pleased with the experience, especially compared to other places. I would highly recommend checking this place out when looking for a dress!

Where to begin… this is an amazing store to go to as a bride. My consultation with Tonya was amazing. She had me in and out of dresses before I could even blink. If I didn’t like a style of dress she didn’t pressure me to try it on… she was fantastic. It took longer then I would have like to get my dress in and once it arrived it needed some serious alterations. But since the dress was so reasonably priced I didn’t mind. What bothers me about this store is that with the exception of Tonya, all of the ladies that work there are quite rude. If you are a bridesmaid looking for a bridesmaid dress forget it. First you need an appointment. That appointment consists of you showing up, them showing you where to look for dresses and then fending for yourself trying them on and clipping them. Once a dress is decided upon you then have to bring it, as well as the color swatches to the front and tell them exactly what you want. The reason you have to do this is because no one has come at all to check on you, they are all preoccupied with brides even though they demanded an appointment from you. The appointment rule extends to picking up your bridesmaids dress. Which again, trying it on you tackle solo. Serious lack of customer service from all the women who work here. Another issue I had was with a bra I ordered. Ordered it in June it didn’t come in until October, the day before my bridals. It was wayyyy to small. Luckily my dress could be worn sans bra. Went in the next day and was told the shop manager would contact me. That didn’t happen. When my last bridesmaid went in to get her dress she mentioned how I hadn’t been contacted and was rudely told there was no way they ordered a bra for me because all of their bras come from their stock. When I called to tell them how inaccurate that was… I would know… I’m the one who waited 4 months for a damn bra the lady argued with me that I was wrong. When I pointed out that if my bra had come from their stock wouldn’t it have fit and wouldn’t I have gotten it in June when I paid for it?! All she could say is I was incorrect. What a shitty way to do business. I will never go back to this store again!

I didn’t end up finding my dress here but I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They have an amazing selection. It’s such a cute shop. I can’t remember my consultants name but she was a younger girl early 20s maybe. She was so sweet, not pushy at all. She pulled some dresses that I loved and ended up keeping as my 2 options I couldn’t decide between. She was also very patient and talked to me about my wedding the whole time. I came on an early Wednesday afternoon so it was pretty slow. Their prices are great. If I hadn’t found a dress I liked just a little better I would have come back here to get one I had my eye on. I read a lot of complaints about the owner. She did step in to help out with a question I had and she was actually very nice to me.

We had a great experience shopping here for my daughter’s wedding dress. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. The shop is beautiful, the selection is great and the prices are fantastic! Being in Old Town Spring, it’s the perfect location to make a day of it and enjoy!

Lots of dresses the front manager girl kind older. Wasn’t that great she could take a few customer service doses but the lady that helps me her name was Tonya she was wonderful!

Rude, rude, rude and dishonest ! Bought a dress here that was «supposed» to be a bridesmaid dress (they didn’t even tell me that part) as a wedding gown. When I got home, I looked online and realized they charged me about twice the cost of buying it for bridesmaids because they presented it as a wedding dress (It was champagne colored, strapless, with a lace overlay and a lace-​up back, so easily looked like a bridal gown). I called the store and confronted them about the huge discrepancy and the owner actually had the nerve to tell me «Well, you were happy with the price when you bought it as a bridal gown». What?! That’s because I didn’t know you were ripping me off and sell the *exact* dress to bridesmaids for half the price! Total crap.

I have been to 5+ bridal salons to try on dresses and the owner here was good to me and my mom. I had an early appointment on a Thursday which helped in my favor because we had all the time in the world there and the entire store to ourselves. No complaints by me. I found a dress I liked and was on a sample sale and the sample wasn’t in all that great of condition. I had doubts on how much it would come clean from the dry cleaners and I didn’t want to be paying a lot of money for a dress that wasn’t new.

Very disappointed with my sister’s experience here for her wedding.
We came to this store because I bought my wedding dress here 4 years ago, and expected a similar experience… apparently their service level has gone down considerably. My sister bought a veil here and was told it would take 4 weeks to get in. She scheduled her bridal portraits for 6 weeks later, and when she called at the 4 week mark to inquire about the veil, was told they had not ordered it yet, but could rush the order and get it in 2 weeks.
When we went 2 weeks later to pick it up, it was still not in. The woman who does the ordering was very condescending and refused to take responsibility or apologize for the delays and inconveniences. She was very short and rude, and acted as if it was the bride’s fault that this had happened because she hadn’t been informed of the date of bridal portraits. She gave us the floor sample veil to use for portraits, but only after we asked. She offered no solutions and showed a severe lack of customer service skills.
When the veil finally came in, it was in a different color than the bride had tried on in store. The shop owner tried to convince the bride that this color would match the dress better, and was again condescending and difficult to deal with. She offered no apology, and to make a long story short, the shop ended up not being able to get the correct veil in the correct color in stock before my sister’s wedding. It was a long, drawn-​out, process that could have been made much more pleasant at several points along the way.
Planning a wedding is a stressful time, and a small detail like the veil shouldn’t consume this much energy. I’d recommend going somewhere else — somewhere more friendly, that doesn’t treat you like you’re a bridezilla before you even open your mouth, and a place that can keep track of details and deliver on their promises!

I have been in several weddings and have therefore been to many bridal salons. Never have I been to one in which the staff is so rude. Yes the salon is beautiful with many dresses, however it is absolutely not worth it.
The bride had gotten her dress there and so we got our bridesmaid dresses there as well because we assumed it was easiest.
We should have known when they were so rude and unprofessional when we were trying them on. We quickly picked a dress and ordered it. ON NOVEMBER 7TH WE PAID OUR DEPOSITS FOR THE DRESSES.
IT IS FEBRUARY 22ND, THE WEDDING IS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AND TWO OF THE DRESSES HAVE NOT COME IN YET.
Each time we call to check on the dresses the staff are very put out and generally unhelpful. They are unsure of their arrival date and they still have to be altered when they come in.

I really enjoyed my dress shopping experience at The Princess Bridal.
I did have an appointment on a weekday afternoon — I was actually the only other person in the store. Denise looked at the dresses I had previously tried on/​liked, and then began pulling things for me to try. She was ok with my mom and sister making dress requests as well.
I thought I had a good idea of what I wanted, but Denise had a good eye for the «feel» I was looking for. She suggested some really terrific dresses that I would have never even thought to try.
Although, I ended up purchasing a dress from a designer that they don’t carry, I’d highly recommend this shop when looking for a wedding dress. The shop is cute, clean, and packed full of fabulous dresses.

The Princess Bridal is the best bridal boutique in north Houston. In one word: ambiance. The store has a beautiful selection of gowns and accessories. The entire store is truly fit for a princess. There are chandeliers in every bridal room, beautiful furniture and modern window valences. It makes the entire store feel like a modern hip, yet classy dress boutique. I needed a plus size gown and ended up custom ordering, but Denise (the owner) was very helpful when I decided to add extra crystal buttons on the dress. Jennifer was also very helpful when I was getting my dress alterations. She was always quick with a compliment and made me feel very comfortable in their hands. It’s obvious they know just about everything about the wedding business. If you’re a bride or bridesmaid, do yourself a favor and make an appt. :)

I was the maid of honor for my friend’s wedding back in June of 2010 so when we were searching for our dresses and her wedding dress here early of that year, I can tell you it was not the greatest experience.
The ladies were somewhat short with us. The dress selection was not that great. Everything was very lacey, dated, and looked the same. Nothing stood out. And the way the dresses were crammed on the rack was very unappealing and unattractive. It was hard to view any of them. Their bridesmaids dresses were awful, they had a terrible selection. Luckily, we all ended up with ones that were somewhat decent, I guess. But very expensive for what they were made of and what they looked like. I will not comeback to this shop when it is my turn to be the bride, that’s all I can say.
