The room was nasty, there was insects all over the room and they lied and said that we didn’t want our rooms to be cleaned. The manager of the hotel looked she hadn’t showered in about a week. When we talked to her she got very defensive and gave us no solutions. DONOTSTAYATTHISHOTEL, ITSNASTY.

This is a grimy, filthy moldy, stained, smelly dump. The pictures do NOT reflect the hotel… Talk about your photoshop! 1. We booked a non smoking room, but were given an extra smoked room! I would have been repulsed even if I was a smoker! Gross. 2. Reserved a room with a fridge and microwave, actual room had neither 4. There was mold in the corners of the bathtub. I would have skipped the shower all together if I isn’t smell like a chimney, but I certainly did not feel clean after that gross shower! 5. There was either blood or some reddish/brown dried liquid splattered on the wall 6. There was food crusted in the carpet 7. The furniture had nasty stains 8. The bedspread was stained This place needs to be closed, sanitized, and get new ownership!

It’s a regular Super 8. Nothing fancy at all. I wouldn’t stay here with my family but while on the road for work it will do. It’s never been dirty that I’ve noticed and I always get stuck on the third floor. It does have parking for big trucks so that’s why I’m here.

This is a cheap room. Don’t expect the Ritz. But it is clean, fresh, with a lot of new appointments. Carpet, TV, sheets! Walking distance for food, beer, and donuts! We stay here every year for the Insperity. Don’t get my room!

Before making online reservation I have called location asked for price and online price is $ 15 cheaper for day . I have made reservation online around 4.00 P. M and received confirmation. When I went to location to check in same person in front desk didn’t even asked confirmation number. He said manager asked not to go give room to you and ready to give reason. Don’t what is problem it was around night 11.00 A.M. Don’t even think about going to this place.

This place is crap… pure and simple crap. Like the others said, wish I could rate it at ZERO stars. The room I stayed in made me feel drunk. Walked inside the room and I felt off balance, because guess what it is. The room itself towards the bathoom/sink area is actually uneven and the«tile» inside the bathroom is cracked and also a trip hazard. The flooring needs work and also the bathtub/shower also… showing begining stages of mold, where their solution is putting caulk over it. I doubt the bed sheets have been ever changed because trying to sleep on there is impossible. Sitting across the I-45, the combination of the noise of traffic and the ac blowing loudly, then the constant itching from the bedding made it literally impossible to sleep. If your using this place as a place to sleep and shower… you can barely get that done here. Bring earplugs and your own blanket. Also good luck not slipping in the shower and cracking your head open.

if possible i would not give this place any star. we had a booking for 4 nights in this hotel as participating artists in the art show in the woodlands. after driving 13 hours we were shocked when we saw the room. we had booked non smoking and the room reeked like a after a 3 day poker game. there was an abundant variety of disgusting stains all over the furniture. the carpet was filthy, no fridge as booked. the room was completely run down and grimy. i really did not want to touch the bed cover in order to see if the sheets were at least clean. we complained and were shown another room with fridge, but it was just as filthy. we refused to stay and demanded a refund. at least after calling the manager the booking was cancelled. it was very late at this point and we found great, clean and very civilized accommodation in the la quinta hotel. if you dont want to catch a disease or be completely disgusted at the very least, do not even get near that super 8.

Staff was friendly… too bad the room had bed bugs. Hotel offered go put me in another room; I opted for having my credit card refunded.

The stay at this hotel was okay up until around 2 hours before checkout. There was LOUD construction starting around 9AM and when I called the front desk to ask them to stop, nothing happened for almost another hour. Also, there were lots(at least 15 – 20) mattresses just laying outside by the dumpster, which happened to be the closest parking to my hotel room.

Let me start by saying, we got a great price for this hotel. It was cheaper per night than anything else I could find — especially over a holiday weekend. In all honesty, that should have been a red flag, but my husband and I share the opinion that the hotel is just for sleeping and showering, so we don’t need anything pricey. We were traveling to the north Houston area to spend Thanksgiving with family. We arrived very late Wednesday night and didn’t have any problems with the check –in process. The lady working there was very friendly. It looked as if the lobby had been recently painted and was fairly clean, so I was hoping the rooms would have been updated as well. We got to our room on the 2nd floor and didn’t have any trouble with the door card(I noticed there were reviews where many people had problems with the door cards). We walked in the room, and at first glance, it was a fairly average room for less than $ 50/night. We turned on the A/C and my husband starting bringing up all the luggage. We have a 9mo old, so we don’t travel light. While he was getting the bags, I looked around. The floor was filthy, the lamp shades had holes in them and were covered in dust and cob webs, the headboards looked as if they hadn’t been dusted since they were installed, the bathroom had mold/mildew and there was blood splatter on the shower curtain. I pulled back the sheets and noticed that there wasn’t a fitted sheet on the bed, just a flat sheet laying over a thin mattress pad. There were multiple blood spots on the mattress pad as well. The 2nd bed in the room wasn’t any better. It was after midnight and technically Thanksgiving day. I tried to find another hotel in the area, but couldn’t find anything close by that had a vacancy, so my husband and I decided to make the best of it. He ran to the 24hr pharmacy and bought a couple containers of Clorox wipes and I started wiping down the room… basically if we were going to have to touch it, or my son could possibly come in contact with it, I wiped it down. We put our own blanket on the bed, so that we were laying on it and got some sleep. We were staying in town until Sunday, so we decided to make sure we kept wiping things down. We stayed pretty busy, spending as little time in the hotel room as possible. They are very picky about their towels at this hotel, and when housekeeping didn’t clean our room the first 2 days we were there(granted, I don’t think they did much cleaning anyway), we had to take our dirty towels to the front desk and trade them for clean towels. They actually have a sign in the sink area that tells how much they will charge per item if any towel comes up missing. We asked why our room hadn’t been cleaned and were told that we had requested not to have our rooms cleaned. I explained that they must be mistaken, that our room desperately needed to be cleaned and we were assured it would be cleaned the following day(Saturday). We didn’t get back to the hotel until after midnight on Saturday. It was obvious housekeeping had been in the room, because the bed was made and there were clean towels, but the room had not been cleaned or vacuumed. Check-out time is 11am and on Sunday we were packing up and just about to head out. We were getting the last of our stuff and doing a look around the room to make sure we hadn’t missed anything, when, at 11:02am, the phone rang and a very rude front desk employee threatened to charge a fee if we weren’t out immediately, since it was 2 minutes past check-out time. We hurried and left and you can guarantee we will never stay at this Super 8 again. We usually stay at Super 8 whenever we travel and have never had a bad experience before. It was obvious that the management is the problem at this location.
