Wow. Maybe my 2nd time in the store… I don’t foresee future trips based on my brief visit today. I was literally in there 2 minutes. I went in to drop off a UPS package. The gentleman who assisted with my package me was fine. The woman at the Copy & Print area was rude! As I thanked the man for my receipt, I briefly asked if there was a print out of their copy and print services when I heard heard a short, «no». It’s all online”…from that lady. It caught the man off guard, too, because he quickly responded with, «is there anything in particular that you were looking for?» I said that I was interested in future products that I might need. But, said that I would just go somewhere else.

What can I write about my experience at Staples? Let’s say that it was a crap experience. Walked into the store and was greeted by a familiar friendly face, Marcus Chui. He was the ONLY employee in Staples that made contact with me and my girlfriend. Walked around the store and needed assistance, but two employees walked by us, without acknowledging us, the customers. They just stared at us and walked away. In-fact, one employee almost ran into us and didn’t bother apologizing and said nothing. Went to the Pencils/Pens aisle, was looking for erasable pens and wanted to test the customer service from the manager. We were saying and asking out loud, «I wonder where are the erasable pens», to no avail. Yep, even the manager didn’t acknowledge or help us out in TWO different aisles. As we were leaving, again Marcus Chui acknowledged us and wished us a great day. To those reading and want customer service where associates and managers acknowledge you, shop at Office Depot or any other supply store. This Staples is god awful.

Called customer service and they apologized for the the beat up package. Told me they would exchange my hard drive I would just have to send it back first and then they would send me a new one. Told them it wouldn’t work out that way because they could just charge me again for it and if that was the case I would just buy it some where else. They were compliant and said they will ship it to the store and I could do the exchange there. Bottom line, ordering online from staples is terrible. This location itself isn’t bad. Some employees could look a little more happy but it’s okay.

I needed to send a FAX. Used the self serve FAX machine and I was out in just a few minutes.

It’s Staples. What can I say. I needed ink and was right there. They had what I needed. And I was in and out without issue.
