Great hardware store with parts and fixes for any and all oddball repairs. Knowledgeable and helpful staff knows how to fix things and will show you what you need to get the job done. The only place in Spring to go to find exactly what you’re looking for, whether it is fasteners in oddball japanese thread patterns or toilet valve rebuild kits or high-test diy pest control supplies. The owner can be intimidating, but he’s always been helpful and makes sure I leave happy.

For the things that the big box stores don’t have, you will find them here. It’s more old school and you can get some friendly help locating what you are looking for. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and the hard or unable to find items that you need.

This True Value Hardware store offers knife, scissor and blade sharpening services! I have several old chef-quality Henckels’ knives that I got shortly after I got married. They were so dull that I rarely used them. I had a hard time finding anyplace that would sharpen knives until I noticed on a recent visit here that a wide range of blade-sharpening services is offered here. I brought in two of the three knives I needed sharpened to see if it was worth the cost. Price for kitchen knives is a flat fee(currently $ 2) plus a set amount per inch of blade to be sharpened. Knives are picked up on Wednesday and returned one week later. Since I never used them because they were so dull, I didn’t mind waiting the week. Cost to sharpen a 3″ paring knife and a 5″ utility knife totaled roughly $ 14. Wow! They are like brand new. My 8″ carving knife is going in next!
