Spring Gardens Nursery is a wholesale/​retail nursery located in Spring, TX close to The Woodlands area. We sell to commercial landscape accounts and to homeowners. We carry most everything for landscaping. We grow a lot of our plants here at the nursery. We provide seasonal color in 18 count flats year round. Spring Gardens also carries dirt, sand, mulches and rocks. If we don’t have it ask us, maybe we can find it or order it. Come on out and see us.

History

Established in 1994.

Richard Gieseke was a science teacher until 1984. He started landscaping then. Looking for good plants and couldn’t find them he decided to start a nursery of his own. He started a little nursery on Tomato Street not far from this nursery and it did well, so well he needed more acreage. So the nursery moved to its present location on nearly 15 acres. It has taken some time putting everything here and we are quite not finished with the whole thing. Selling plants and helping you select plant material is our business so stop by and visit with us.

Richard is hands on in what is planted and when. What is built and when. Everything that is done here is Richards vision. He also built the first Overhead Garden, which we install on your property or sell as a kit. Richard is here a lot of the time so come by and see him.
