we specialize in providing a stress free enviroment where we work one on one by appointment and on a smaller scale than other shops. 28 years experience we specialize in hand scissoring, breed specific trim according to AKC guidelines or per owners request.

History

Established in 2011.

Spa La Paws was formerly known as The Pink Poodle Spa. Beth Haire, the owner of Spa La Paws, was the former owner of Maw N Paws Mobile Grooming until opening the stationary location located in Old Town Spring.

Business Owner

Beth has lived in the Spring for the past 36 years. She graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1988. She grew up around animals and riding horses were her passion. She active in FFA. Graduated high school and attended Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX where she was working on a major in Agricultural Education, minoring in Animal Science and Equine Science. She was a collegiate member in the FFA and on the livestock show team.

What an amazing service. The place is by appointment and sometimes they get booked for a good while so beware to leave you appointment for last minute. They are always on time for your appointment and are accurate on the estimated time is going to take. They not only do an excellent job at doing a good grooming they also put little details to their work. Their drop off spot help a lot too for a quick in and out. I will recommend this place any day.

Great grooming place! I like the mini gate they have upfront so the dogs can’t escape. I showed a picture of how I wanted my baby groomed, and he came out looking perfect and smelling great! The grooming lasted an hour and just a couple of minutes like the nice ladies said!

I just took my mini schnauzer, Bunny, to Spa La Paws for the first time today and they did a great job on her!!! The ladies greeted us with smiles and attention. Hair cut was exactly what I was looking for and Bunny was in very good spirits when I picked her up. I’m still cracking up at the little stick on rhinestone earrings they put on her ears. Totally added a unique little touch and made me laugh! Bunny looks pretty cute!

I went to three other groomers before going to Spa La Paws. My neighbor even takes her dog to Spa La Paws now. I love the fact that I can drop the two dogs off, run around Old Town Spring, shop or go have lunch, and pick the dogs up two hours later. What I don’t like about other groomers is that you have to drop the dogs off early in the morning and leave them there all day long in cages and stressed out. The set-​up Spa La Paws has is so much better and less stressful for the dogs. Not only that, Beth does a fantastic job! She listens to what I want and delivers it each and every time. She gives the best Schnauzer grooms of all! So much so, I’m willing to drive across town from West Houston to go see her every few weeks. I absolutely recommend Spa La Paws Groomers and Beth, the owner.

We’ve been taking our golden doodle Sophie to Spa La Paws for 2 years now and will not go anywhere else! Our Sophie always smells so good and looks like a new woman when we pick her up. Beth is trustworthy, patient, gentle, and very good at what she does! We highly recommend Spa La Paws for your grooming needs!

In the 18 years we’ve owned schnauzers we’ve tried lots of groomers. Spa La Paws is by far the best in town. It’s clean and well run by a caring family, and my pup always looks great. Best of all, I can drop him off and pick him up an hour or two later instead of having to leave him there all day. Great excuse for a little lunch and shopping in Old Town Spring!

Beth was mobil grooming, but decided to go stationary grooming. She does such a great job. You can shop in old town spring and your furry friend does not have to stay all day long. Dogs will be out in an hour or hour and a half. So, there is little stress on your dog. She does such a beautiful job and I would recommend her to anyone. She does a great job on all breeds of dogs. They love her too. You won’t find them frightened to be there. She loves those little fellows so much. I can’t say enough good things about how my two little shihtzus look. She does an A plus groom.
