I have only the highest praise for this palliative/hospice care service. My father has been in their care for eleven months. The team of professionals cares for my 88 year old father like a member of their family. The nurse gives my father praise and smiles and tells us that he is her favorite patient. She has more than once said my Dad made Her day. She sends me photos and reports on her visits. The chaplain visits regularly and provides music therapy and reports back to the family. He is always positive and has a reassuring, friendly voice. The social worker checks in with me regularly and is wiling to answer any questions and take suggestions. The home is one piece and the medical/emotional care piece provided by the Palliative Care Team is another. Team work together; win/win.

Due to a hospice service that had been sub par in the past, our family almost waited too long to enlist the services of Rose of Texas. However they came as a personal private family doctor recommendation of a party not associated with the resource need. Absolutely outstanding professionals that came to be friends of the family. When the final event came, they arrived in about 90 minutes at 5 am, at a distance of travel that had to begin within just minutes of 3:30 am. The took care of everything and have offered free grief counseling for the next year for over 75 family members. If you find yourself, family or a friend dealing with a terminally ill loved one, this service performed a near miracle of perfection of a very difficult skill set that they are trained professionals at. They very quickly gained the trust of our family with at home service way out in the Sam Houston forest. And they will always have our appreciation.
