Why didn’t I listen to previous Unilocalers!!! I won’t be returning to this location even if it’s 5 minutes closer then the next nearest location. Superrrr skimpy toppings, chewy, & just not tasty.

Admittedly, not the best pizza around this neighborhood. But for the discount you get when the Astros or Texans win and order online. Even if they don’t win, you can find discount codes online. As noted above, we order online and drive over to pick up the order. They have not made a mistake yet, and always ready within the promised time(trust me — many times). We normally pizza around 5:30. So — for everyday pizza — online ordering and go and pick it up. When ordering from the app — you can customize your pizza a bit. I usually order large-thin crust + toppings ½ — ½. For good pizza — try one of the non-chain pizzerias in the neighborhood. Monday, November 30, 5:45PM — busy tonight, took longer then expected(email estimated 30 min, store estimated 40 minutes, took 50 minutes). Looks like they were running at max capacity —

Tried ordering again tonight. I do appreciate that they are open later than other pizza places. Placing an order at 9:45 and I was told it would be between 90 minutes to 2 hours. The order taker was very gracious when I told her this was the third time this has happened to me in the last 6 months. She offered to expedite my order to 35 minutes. I refused saying it was not fair to those customers who placed an order before me. I asked for the district manager’s contact information but she was not able to give that out. Understandable on her part. This location appears to me to be severely understaffed and mismanaged on a district or regional level. The woman I spoke with when attempting to place my order was very apologetic and handled the situation as well as she could given the circumstances. Kudos to her. One star to those above her.

The Texans won day before yesterday so my wife decided«hey great time to try their pizza» especially since there is a deal whenever the Texans win. I was amazed at the pizza — this is the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Now I am not a pizza afficionado but I do know what I like. The pizza we got wa a veggie pizza and some sort of everything on meat pizza. In both cases the crust was JUNK. I mean like previously chewed chewing gum, it was that chewy!!! Each pizza also had 2 — 3 pickled peppers which were dry and old. Again, amazing! It was picked up at the time indicated on the online order so it was not left sitting there due to us. We usually buy Dominos and I like their pizza well enough but I was impressed by the Papa John’s commercials so I wanted to try their pizza. Maybe it is good at a different location but I will never know. and to add insult to injurt the pizzas each cost $ 18+(but because of the special the second one was free). Di Giorno pizza can be had for $ 6 and 1000X better — there is no comparison. I could get 3 Di Giornos for the price of this Papa John’s pizza. «Disappointed» is too mild a word. Back to Dominos and Di Giorno and no more Papa John’s for us.

Poor service and worse pizza. They lost several orders tonight(10÷25÷13) and left us standing in the front of the store for over 30 minutes after we arrived«in time» for pickup. No apology, no offer to reduce the price, NOTHING. And, the pizza wasn’t good! This is the most poorly John’s franchise in town.
