O’Reilly Auto Parts

While this has been my preferred location for a few years it is also the reason I will no longer give them my business.
Most of the employees have no clue about parts or tools and have on several Occasions sent me home with wrong tools or parts. Further they are argumentative and tend to have excuses for any and everything from what they have out of stock to why their tool loaner is striped but they will still keep on loaning it out.
Your lucky to get an older employee because they tend to have some clue and will often catch the others on things they say will work. Sadly they often recommend I go elsewhere rather than waste my time in their store. What happened to the quality of these part houses? My dad an I have visited since I can remember but in the past few years it’s really slid down hill at this location and several others.
My advice is if your going to visit order online for pick up in store and don’t let them give you any advice. If you don’t know what you need go to Advanced (weaker selection but better trained staff) or NAPA (way more expensive but at least they will have the part for you every time).
