Our trained, knowledgeable and reliable teams of professionals deliver outstanding cleaning results not just the first time they clean, but every time they clean. We achieve these results because the owners perform random checks to ensure outstanding quality and all our work is guaranteed.

History

Established in 2006.

We started off as a regular maid service in Northwest Houston, offering customers weekly or bi-​weekly service as well as one-​time or deep cleanings. During the financial crises that started in 2008 we added a huge new piece to our service offerings. We began cleaning foreclosed homes for investors, banks and real estate brokers. The goal was to get a house in shape for either rehab/​contracting work or for being listed for sale or rent. The work involved very detailed, deep cleaning and sanitization. In the space of 2.5 years we completed more than 2,000 separate foreclosure or «Initial Cleanings.» Also during this time we also began offering handyman and contracting services. Later, in 2011, we started assisting sufferers of hoarding disorder with clearing out and cleaning up their homes to create a safer and healthier living environments. This has become the most rewarding work for us thus far. It feels good to operate a business that provides a real benefit to others in need.

Business Owner

Maury possesses 20 years experience as a marketing executive at the international corporate level in the aviation, financial card services, software and heavy equipment rental industries. Born in Tripoli, Libya, Maury and his family settled in Katy, Texas in 1976 after many years of living overseas. Maury is a former Marine and graduate of the University of Houston. He founded Freedom Maids in 2006 and today is responsible for general management, strategy, marketing, and operations. Maury and his wife live in Spring, Texas where their four daughters attend Klein schools.
