Mission

The mission of Faithbridge is to make more and stronger disciples of Jesus Christ by being a bridge of faith to people every day.

Strategy

Faithbridge believes strongly that we are to be a bridge of faith to people every day. It’s in our name! We are an externally-focused church, working to reach others for Jesus Christ. At Faithbridge, you’ll hear a lot about practicing the rhythm of worship +2. This simply means that, in addition to joining together in Sunday worship, we recognize the importance of each person connecting in two types of small groups: a authentic group of people to grow with spiritually, and a team to serve others through ministry.

History

Established in 1999.

Ten years ago the Lord called Pastor Ken to plant a church in Northwest Houston with the mission to make more and stronger disciples of Jesus Christ. Faithbridge began with a core group of seven people, growing to our current average of 3,000 adults, students, and children each week. Guided by a memorable congregation-wide prayer campaign, we purchased 80 acres of land where our new church home stands.

Meet the Manager

Manager

I get most excited when I see people transformed by the touch of Jesus Christ. I love hearing about folks whose prayer lives are climbing to new levels, whose hearts for serving others inside and outside our walls are growing, whose addictions are being conquered, and whose families are being strengthened. I like seeing real lives experience real change.

God gave me just the perfect wife for me. Suzanne is a lot of fun and very funny, deeply committed, and so cute I sometimes think, «Wow, how’d I get her?» We have two sons named for some of our favorite heroes of English church history. Our 4-year-old, Wesley, is named after John and Charles Wesley; and our 1-year-old, William, is named after William Tyndale.

In addition to teaching God’s Word, leading Faithbridge, and developing new leaders, I enjoy using the gifts God has given me to help strengthen other Kingdom-minded ministries, like the thriving college ministry called Breakaway, at Texas A&M.
