History

Established in 1996.

I grew up seeing my father doing clock and watch repair and spent countless hours looking over his shoulder. I started working with him in 1982 while we were living in Athens, Greece. Shortly after moving to the United States in 1986, we operated a shop on Historic Main Street in St. Charles, Missouri. In 1995 I moved to the Houston area and started Classic Clock Shop shortly after. My father visited often and we enjoyed working on clocks together. Unfortunately, he passed away in March 2012.

Business Owner

The son of a master Greek clocksmith, Michael Koutsobinas has worked on classic, antique clocks since 1982. After training with his father for many years, Michael opened Classic Clock Shop in Spring, Texas, near Houston. Michael rebuilds, restores, and repairs a wide variety of fine antique European and American clocks. Each clock is treated with the highest level of personal pride and craftsmanship instilled in this second generation clock expert.
