Bouncin Bears of Texas

The «nursing station» is behind a card board box, the acoustics are terrible, the place smells like feet. The staff don’t monitor the patrons, therefore big kids, well over the age of 3, are using the toddler (under 3) bounce houses. I can’t think of a single positive except I’m glad we didn’t pay for the 20 minutes we were there.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Too long to give details, so let’s just say I had to put a stop pay because they did not deliver any juice boxes and kicked us out of our reserved room 20 minutes too early and we did not get our full 2 Hours!
It actually can be nice for open play jumping, but they do allow older kids and adults that can be dangerous at times.
Go at your own risk and take your birthday party somewhere else!!!

First — my boys LOVED it. Second — I think I burned more calories than they did. Is that necessarily a bad thing? Not at all. It’s always nice to get a workout — even if it is just chasing triplet 2 — year olds around a big arse room!
First — it’s cheap! Love that without a doubt. Having 3 kids is expensive, so a little less coming out of the pocket is great. :)
I hate that there’s so much chaos in this place. The day I visited (during the week even, although school was out for the summer) the older children that were there — and I do mean older as in 11 and up — seemed to have no regard for the smaller ones and would all but pummel them to get where they wanted. Where are the parents? I literally watched three much older boys zip around the place jumping over children and lunging onto the trampoline while other parents and SMALLER children were sitting on it or playing. Not once did the two children — yep the staff were quite young — working even say anything. I also noticed how they were preventing other kids from getting on certain inflatables… Not cool.
Again — where are the parents??? Where is the control from the staff??? I guess kids can’t be expected to manage kids… go figure.
Oh I know — they’re sitting on the floor with noses buried in a book, or at the table with an iPad, or glued to FB. not paying the slightest attention to their offspring. Newsflash: This place isn’t a daycare. At least be mindful of YOUR children. :(I was appalled at how they were running around and zooming past my 2 year olds to jump on that big arse trampoline, that by the way needs a SERIOUS cleaning. Eeeek. Hand/​Foot/​Mouth anyone???
I’ve heard so many things — both good and bad — about this place that I felt compelled to try it out. I’m glad I did. I can’t say I won’t EVER bring them back, however I am pretty reluctant to do so until they are much, MUCH older. Reason being? For safety reasons mainly. I think without adequate safety measures in place, it’s far too dangerous for the smaller ones. From the lack of mutual supervision, to the half blown up inflatables, the electrical hazards and the seriously nasty bathroom — I’m not pleased.
Call it what you will — but I’ll go buy a dog gone inflatable (or rent one for that matter) before I take them back to this place anytime soon.
Oh! And lets not forget — the cording and electrical that keeps the inflatables running is out and about for the taking. It is unsightly and not to mention down right DANGEROUS to have that visible and out in the open, around small exploring toddlers. While it is our jobs as parents to teach safety, I think it’s also the responsibility of the establishment to be SAFE…

I’ve been coming here for 6+ years so why am I upset today?
Socks… yes socks. But not exactly why you think.
I’ve worn flip flops here and never been told I had to wear socks.
What bothered me is not the part of wearing socks, but not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 women here were wearing open toed shoes not unlike flip flops. Not only that, 3 more women came in after me and not one was asked to wear socks.
WHY? Oh well… whoops another woman came in without socks… (grumble grumble).
BTW… the young manager really could benefit from customer service classes. No really, I mean it. It will help her in the future.

This place is so awesome and affordable! I love taking my two kids here. We bought a season pass for summer for $ 100 for the entire summer. I also got to add two more children (so awesome!)
We go multiple times a week, it’s good healthy fun. We just relocated to Texas so this heat is killer. We go here to get away from the heat but get some exercise. The rules are almost always enforced, but not always but if you have a voice of your own and stay with your kids you can make sure your littles are safe.
There are some little jerks of children here whose parents let them run sometimes, and they’re naughty. But every time I just ask them «do we need to go find your mother?» And that usually works effectively. Lol.
So, if you’re looking for affordable and healthy fun… This is the place! You can also do parties here, and there’s plenty of seating for adults.

This was our first time at Bouncin Bears after going to a competitor several times. There are several things that go along with this two-​star review. I give it two-​stars because yes, my child had a great time and is worn out. That’s always a good thing.
First off, I was surprised about the lack of safety measures in place. There are no wrist-​bands that match adult with child. This isn’t a problem for my kiddo because he’s never out of my sight. But I could see this being a potential issue for kids getting out the door if their parents aren’t paying attention or lose them for a split second.
Secondly, there was ONE person working today (not sure if this is the norm), and this person was taking money at the entrance. There was not a single person monitoring the jumps to make sure people were following he rules. The jumps for kids 3 and under were constantly full of kids MUCH older who were completely crazy and unsupervised. My toddler was knocked down and trampled multiple times by kids way too old to be in there. Yes, this is a parenting issue as well, but I feel like there should be an employee monitoring. The «pillow» was also full of kids doing flips. One ended up doing a flip directly into my child and kicked him hard with both feet straight in the stomach. It was accidental, but shouldn’t have happened if rules were enforced, as flipping on the pillow is not allowed.
Would I go back to Bouncin Bears? Possibly, if I didn’t have another option that day. However, I’d go into it knowing what to expect. This place has the potential to be awesome. Seriously though, there needs to be some safety measures (extra employee monitoring) in place to help these kids be safe.

We booked a party at a rate of around $ 270 for 2 hours.(Noon to 2pm) We were told that Bouncin Bears would provide a private room, cake, and drinks for up to 15 children. When we got there, we were pointed towards the Orange room. When we walked into the room, there looked to be a party still going on. So we put our things on the table outside room and sat down to wait for the previous party to clear out. At about 12:10pm, noticing that no one in the room was in a hurry to leave, we started to wonder if perhaps we had been sent to the wrong room. So we went to the counter and asked for room verification. We were told that it was the Orange room, and that the party before us was getting ready to leave. At about12:20pm, we finally had a room to gather in. Once we got all of her gifts on the gift table, Grandma brings in some cup cakes, and extra drinks, and at about 12:30pm, the first thirsty child enters the room asking for a beverage. We looked for the «Drinks» that were to be supplied by Bouncin Bears, but could not find them. Again, we approached the front desk and asked about the drinks. To which we were asked if we had «looked for them, because they should be in there». We said that we had, but would give it another go. As we went back inside, a member of the staff brought in a box of Capri suns, set them on the counter, and left. We took them off the counter and went to put them in the ice chest to keep them chilled, when we noticed that they were not only not cold, but warm… One of the parents arrived with the pizzas, so we began to go around informing the kids that the food was here. As the kids devoured their pizza, a staff member came in to check on things. We asked if they knew when the cake would be ready, and were told that they didn’t have a cake for our party. The staff member then walked over to grandmas cupcakes, picked them up, and proceeded to walk around, handing them out. Once the kids were fed, and sent back out to play, we got the gift table all set up and ready to go. One of the parents, over hearing the cake dilemma, sprang into action and left. Only to return with a cake, with our daughters name on it. She was our hero. So far, every ball that Bouncin Bears had dropped had been picked right back up by a member of our party. It was at about 1:20pm that the intercom came to life, and for the first time, our party was informed that it was time for cake and presents!!! The kids all gathered back in the room, and our daughter was presented with the first of many gifts… A BIKE!!! She was thrilled. She climbed on the bike and was still smiling ear to ear when another staff member came in, rolling what looked like an industrial laundry hamper. She wheeled it over to the gift table and began placing the gifts inside it. When we what was up, she simply said that they are closing at2pm for a private party. We explained that we paid for two hours, and weren’t able to even enter the room for twenty minutes when we got there, but were told that they had a lot to do to get ready for the next group. Shocked, and a bit disgusted with experience, we began to load everything up, ENCLUDING THE CAKE, and taking it to the cars. I turned to find a staff member pushing my daughter out of the room on her bike that she hadn’t even had a chance to dismount. This is where I almost lost it. But we kept it cool and proceeded to exit. As we were leaving, we saw the next party begin to enter. I’m torn as to how I should explain this next part. The party we were being evicted for was obviously Middle Eastern. I have 2 concerns at this point… Either A, This group was throwing down a good chunk of cash to ensure a good, memorable party for their children, and Bouncin Bears was hoping for some referrals, or a return party. Or B, with all of the current controversy involving folks from the Middle East, and their opinion of our culture here in The United States, Perhaps Bouncin Bears was concerned about be labeled «Racist» or something along those lines. Either way, they’re welcome to run their business however they feel they should. But I just wish they would do it in a less intrusive way. Like I said in the beginning, it’s a cool place to take the kids to have some fun. Just stay out of their way when it comes time for them to prove how diverse they are.

Awful. When you walk in the place immediately has a foul odor. The birthday helpers were unattentive. They were very unhelpful to our host. To top it off they allow adults to jump atop the large «pillow» bouncy. So if you want to see your toddler fly off of it and land on the hard ground past their mats unsafely, this is the place for you. When informing the attendants that adults jumping are causing little kids to fly off their reply was, «Oh, we can’t do anything. We allow grown ups to jump on there.»
I explained that kids were falling off, they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry.
None of the bounce moonwalks had attendants, so that means very small kids were in the obstacles with older kids who are allowed to climb up the sides where you’re not supposed to be climbing. My sister in law was very unhappy with the party place she chose.

Just came back from volunteering here for my student occupational therapy association. Another classmate and I signed up, but when we got there, the manager and ATA, who was hosting, had no idea. It was supposed to be for Down Syndrome Association of Houston (DSAH). There was miscommunication, but they did accommodate us and let us stay to help out and watch/​play with the kids. I didn’t know this place existed! It’s a little past TC Jester on 2920. Once a month, ATA hosts an event for families and their children who have down syndrome, ADHD, etc. Kelly, from ATA, does great work here. The manager of Bouncin’ Bears was nice, too. The only thing is that some of the inflatable bouncing castles/​moonwalks weren’t inflated enough. Once you sit on it, you sink to the floor. They also do birthday parties and slumber parties. They supply the plates. Just bring food and cake. The price for 15 – 20 kids is about $ 195ish. There’s also free WiFi, and they sell bottled drinks and snacks/​candy.

Last year I threw a birthday party for my son here, it was ok, not great. Probably three stars, although my four year old did have a great time.
But this year dropped them to one star. His mom had an impromptu party planned (all the party rooms were unavailable, but they said they could set up at a table and just not do cake). She had the girl she spoke with double check with her manager and they said all was good as long as they were done by 4 because a private party started then. When they arrived to set-​up a man informed them someone rented the entire place out starting at 2, the same time their party was supposed to start. The event was unfortunate for sure, but that is the nature of an unscheduled party. But what earned them one star was that Bouncing Bears was extremely rude about it and didn’t seem to care that they made a 5 year old and his pregnant Mother cry because they told them they couldn’t come in. Terrible customer service and lack of compassion.

Great place to take your kids. They just need to get rid of the toy machines. It’s such a distraction for the little ones.

I enjoy this place. For the working single parent or the family where both parents work, Bouncin Bears is a «god-​send» on the weekends. Where those other inflate-​a-​fun places shut down on Saturdays for a party, Bouncin Bears will keep your munchkins occupied for your entire 2-​day work week break!
The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the little ones will sleep HARD after a solid 2 hour jump sesh. HOLLAAAA!!!
Some things to note:
Parents come here and let their kids go wild. This would be cool if they were all 2, but you have toddlers in there with 9 year olds. And these big kids RUN at full speed. Parents, watch your little ones. I keep my little buddy at arms length ready to scoop him in when some unruly 4^th graders turn the corner playing their game of «Bounce-​House Tag and Terrorize».
If you want to avoid the crowd, take advantage of the religious families that rule the burbs. Sunday mornings around 11… PRIMETIME! I think I counted 20 kids in there.
I’m giving the place 4 stars because though they are clean, big, and friendly, I really feel they should emphasize a walk rule. If your kids wanna run, take em to the park!

I went in today to get some information about scheduling a birthday party for my son who will be 2 next month. Instead of even talking to me, the girl behind the desk handed me a print out and walked away. I stood there thinking she would turn back around towards me and answer my questions… or show me around. But nope… she and the guy that was working with her could not have cared less that I was there. I’m so very disappointed. That could have been a cool place to have the party.

Went on a Monday about 10am. Stood at front desk for a good 5 minutes as I watched the only girl working sit on the phone. Not once did she even make eye contact or acknowledge that I was there holding a toddler on my hip. After waiting patiently I finally walked right up to her and asked if we could go ahead and let the kids play while I wait for her to finish. She finally acknowledged me and said no give her a minute… So I continued to wait until she finally asked the person on the phone to hold for a second. Her excuse was that she didn’t want to cut the person on the phone off because they were talking. I would have preferred a «Thank you for waiting» or «Sorry for the wait!» Then, she took my payment and handed me my receipt. I had to ask her «is there anything I need to know?» At that point she went over the logistics with me. Good grief! No customer service!!! The place is full of dust and had a 12 foot ladder & spare blowers laying around in the play area. Not cool!

Unbelievable value for great entertainment for kids! Open jump available for flat fee al day with in and out permitted with receipt. Would be nice if more Parking was available and if food was permitted inside but one can quickly understand why it is only limited to private parties. Food is relatively near but one risks losing available parking.

This place is wonderful! My kids love it and I love it! We have been here 3 different times and each time we had a blast. It is $ 5 a kid and the best part is if you want to leave to feed the kids as long as you come back with your receipt you can come back in. There are multiple moon walks to bounce on even for you adults who has the kid inside of you dying to jump, you have options. The restrooms were clean and tidy as well as the moonwalks from what I can see. The only thing negative I could really think of was that the snack and drink prices are really expensive but it’s typical and hence the leave and come back option. We love this place and whenever I have my group. i.e. my two children, my two god-​children, my niece and my other 3 nephews we ransack this place with our presence.

Fun, affordable, and many moonwalks to explore there for the kiddos. Very basic place but will keep the kiddos entertained. My niece and my 5 y/​o son enjoyed it, we were there for a good solid 2 hours. I went right around the time they opened and it was nice, not crowded at all. I even had fun jumping on their air pillow. I may possibly consider this place for a future birthday party, they are lot cheaper then Pump it Up. ;-)

This is the perfect place to take toddlers and young children during the summer. They LOVE all the various moonwalks, many with slides, or a basketball goals, or a rope ladder, or any number of active variations. There are several 3-​and-​under moonwalks to keep the toddlers happy and out of the way of the bigger kids.
It’s a great value at only $ 5/​kid. Always clean, great staff, and the assortment of moonwalks changes a bit every so often, so it’s not EXACTLY the same every time. I highly recommend getting a punch card — your kids will want to come back over and over again.
One warning, especially on weekends: CALL OR CHECK THE WEB SITE before you head over. They’re often closed for a private party, and the last thing you want to do is pull up with a bunch of happy kids only to be faced with a «closed» sign. :(
I learned this one the hard way, but the lady who was throwing the party VERY graciously let us crash the party since there were only about 15 kids, and it’s a BIG place. Spring has some seriously nice people. :)

This place is great to entertain children during the heat of summer. There is very little inside activities to do with kids and this is one of the best. It is only $ 5 for children to jump and parents are free. You must wear socks here which is also good and keeps germs from spreading. There are different sections for toddlers and older kids. My daughter likes going down the big slide. Each trampoline has a different theme and has different elements to it. There is a big trampoline in front where everyone jumps. They don’t allow outside drinks, but they do sell juice, water sodas at the front desk. You can also rent rooms in the back for child birthday parties.

We actually live in San Diego, but we visit Spring, TX for about a month out of the year. I come here OFTEN with my 2 and 5 year old. We love it, and they are entertained for 1 ½ — 2 hours every time. I’m always impressed by how clean it is, and it isn’t very crowded. Now, we always go in the morning because we want to avoid the crowds. I have gone in the afternoons when it’s more crowded and my kids still enjoyed themselves, but you just have to stay closer and make sure they don’t get trampled by some bigger kids.
It’s an amazing value especially if you buy a punch card. We don’t have anything this good in San Diego, and my kids always look forward to going to Bouncin Bears!
