Business Owner

Best-​selling author, lecturer, and tax strategist Jay Mangrum was raised to believe that it is our civic duty to pay our taxes, but that we should not have to leave a tip! In 1996, Jay left Houston to join the United States Navy and attend the elite U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School. Jay went on to serve in the Navy submarine service in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Jay received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. He is a Graduate Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, and is an Enrolled Agent. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), he is licensed to practice and represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states. He is designated a Certified Tax Coach by the AICTC. Additionally, he is a member of several professional industry associations including the AICTC, the NATP, the NAEA, and the TXSEA.

Jay is responsible for having saved US taxpayers millions of dollars through use of strategic and proactive tax planning methods.
