Advanced Spine and Injury Center

We have been patients of Dr Mark’s for years now and have several stories that bring tears to my eyes to tell as to what he and his staff have done for us. This one is especially unusual and hopefully it will help others who are having this same issue. My son, a big basically healthy 16 yr old boy started throwing up and after a few times it got to the point that he was not able to keep any solid food down. When he finally told me what was going on we went immediately to our family physician who put him on Nexium for acid. This is unusual for a person so young but they felt it might be due to teenage stress. After days of continually vomiting we also went to an accupuncturist and he felt better but would still get sick. Finally he got better but within 2 days of completing the first two weeks of Nexium it came back with a vengeance. We went to a GI specialist who told us his stomached had stopped working right and literally food was rotting in his stomache but «hopefully» after another 6 weeks on the Nexium they «hoped» it would heal itself. 2 more weeks of vomitting and 20lbs lost now (gastroparesis) we took him to Doc as we affectionately call Dr Mark and he found two places mid and top of his spine that are specific to nerves that control the stomache and digestive area. One adjustement and J felt better. He began eating slowly but from the moment Doc found the two points that were in essence pinched nerves that we didn’t even know J had he has not gotten sick again. We are 4 days vomit free! J is almost like hisself again. We are keeping a close watch on him but it is like a miracle. We have reported it to both the GP and the GI so that they can tell other patients with similar issues. We are so grateful to Dr. Mark and his staff. We will always go to him first for everything from now on regardless if we feel or think it might be spine related. My case was extremely bad as I had 4 herniated disk in my lower back of which one was herniated so bad that it was pushing my spinal cord to the max. I had 2 different doctors tell me I needed surgery that was the only thing that would help. I am not a surgery person so chose to keep looking for answers and I found Dr. Mark after some of my customers said he was amazing and worked wonders. After he reviewed my mri he said it was extremely bad and he didn’t know if I was to far gone for his help. But he was willing to give it a shot and if not then he would help me find the right doctor to do the surgery. After only 3 visits I can now MOVE with out pain. it is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone ! He truly is a god send to me !

I always feel better after a visit to Advanced Spine. I first came to Dr. Mark after a whiplash accident, and he immediately gave me the tools to get my back in a more stable situation. His staff gave me clear and helpful directions on where to go for MRIs and other tests that were necessary in my case. Dr. Mark read my test results thoroughly and explained every detail to me. He always spends a lot of time with me to fully explain the therapies, my progress, and my recovery goals. Dr. Mark is exceptionally bright as a doctor. He never stops educating himself and that shows a huge commitment to helping his patients. You can clearly see his passion for his work, and that’s the kind of doctor everyone should have! I never feel rushed, and they often work with me to rearrange my appointments, or see me immediately at a moment’s notice. Mandi, his office manager, is always friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed getting to know her over the years, and she makes me and my family feel welcome there.

Once you come in you feel you will be taken care of even if his off his work hours. Others just tell you cone back Monday! Ha

Dr. Mark is very informative and fixes me up with my athletic injurys everytime I go. Had more success here then anywhere else. Stem and treatments is 50 bucks a hit.

Dr Mark is awesome. He listens and he is thorough and gentle. He offers a good range of services but isn’t pushy about what you decide to do. He is NOT of the «adjustments will solve everything» rather hr will work with you to find the right treatment

The staff at this facility, needs to be more honest about insurance. Do not say that you accept insurance when you really don’t. This is a cash/​credit card facility.

Someone from this office aka «spring wellness» submitted claims to my insurance company even though I was told by the doctor himself that they didn’t participate in my insurance plan. This is after I paid them in full on the day of my first and only visit. So basically they are committing fraud because they have already been paid. If there was a way to give zero stars on Unilocal,then I would. Stay away from this place unless you’re ok with getting ripped off.
These people are crooks! Don’t believe the hype in their reviews on google. There are other chiropractors that are just as good. Try HealthPro on Cypresswood. I’ve been seeing Dr. Dannug for several weeks and have seen a huge difference in my shoulder and neck issues. The Healthpro staff is honest, professional, and efficient.
