Called Schuster after seeing they had an A+ BBB rating. I suppose if you don’t show up for service calls or ever doing anything, not much to go to the BBB for. I initially called on Monday. Said they could have someone out on Tuesday. I missed the call on Tuesday so rescheduled for Wednesday. Got a call on Wednesday afternoon saying I was third in line. Got another call at 5:30 saying oops, too late, we’ll get to you on Thursday. One would think I’d be at the top of the list on Thursday but, oh no! Get a call Thursday late morning saying he’d be there at 2:00 or at least between 2:00 and 4:00. No call until 5:30 saying he was on his way. Clown arrives shortly and comes with nothing but his invoice packet. Talks my ear off about my cat and his cat. Finally looks at the dishwasher and says there’s a problem with the control panel. Duh! That’s why I called! Writes me an invoice for $ 32.95 and said he’d check for the cost of replacing control panel after checking with his numerous contacts to get the best price and of course the $ 32.95 would be deducted from the cost of any repair. Haven’t heard from him since. Don’t waste your time or money with these clowns.

Schuster Appliance is wonderful. A small, local business that has been around for 30+ years. I have had the pleasure of having them come to my residence to fix my washer on two different occasions, both times they had the part needed on their truck and fixed the problem on the spot at a reasonable and fair rate. The most recent visit was scheduled on a Thursday for the repairman to come to my home on Monday. They called me to let me know they had a opening for Friday (the very next day after I called) which thrilled me, I do a lot of laundry (big family). They were prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgable. I highly recommend this company! Great experience!

After calling several repair companies, this place had a medial charge to come out and look at my washer. They seemed friendly and professional over the phone so I scheduled an appointment with them. They gave the typical… we’ll be there between this time and that time, but definitely before 1pm. My poor roommate stayed up all day waiting for them and they never showed nor did they call. At 230pm, I finally called them and the girl who answered the phone was clueless. I will never call them again. Who doesn’t show up to an appointment without at least calling the customer? Very poor customer service.
