I recommend Mean Metal for the purchase of firearms. When I purchase a product online I always read about the «store» and I found Mean Metal had a firearm I wanted, AND they were local. I called and talked to Pat. I asked him if I could save the shipping charge by driving over and buying the gun at the same price they had it listed and he agreed. I appreciated his flexibility. I prepaid for the product since it had to go through some government agency to verify validity of my FOID card and that took a day to do. The next I drove over, picked up my gun, some ammo and a few other things like clips and a sight. I am quite happy with my purchase, the price, and the quality of Mean Metal customer service.

Mean Metal is smaller end local gun shop, I have purchased both a rifle & hand gun from them @ very competitive prices, I would also like to not they make there own AR 15’s. The people behind the counter at mean metal are reasonable and friendly, if you have a question & they do not know the answer they will ask someone who does. Honest and Straight forward with honest service and good prices.
