So here it is… my husband and I really like this place. There gyros are good, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. So why do I only give it 3 stars? Because they never seem to be open. They have the weirdest hours on the face of the earth. we want some gyros and it’s only 2:30 on a Saturday but they’re closed(sign says 3) It’s so dumb.

I was lured in by the street sign«by one gyro get one half price» and was upsold to the more specialty($) sandwiches. You do get a lot of food for the price. The veggie gyro was delicious, as was the bacon pastrami gyro. It also came with fries/rice and a salad. My disappointment was that the rice was old and had no flavor. We got the bottom of the rice maker, as evident by the bowl shaped crust on our portions. The salad was wilted and soggy. We tossed the sides and only ate the sandwiches. The gyro fries, a twist from the Mexican carne asada fries, were a great hit with everyone. Maybe they were having an off day or the employee wasn’t attentive, so we’ll give it another chance and update the review in the future.

AMAZING! To say the least. I was in the area… ok, actually at the fat clinic next door hahahaha and noticed this place. Not gonna lie I was hungry and did not want fast food so I figured I’d give this place a shot. I ordered the Greek Avocado Chicken Breast Salad for $ 9.95, which at first I thought was a tad bit too pricey but let me tell you it was freakin worth it and them some! I forgot the owners name but she was very lovely and welcoming, she gave me a brief history of her previous location in downtown and how they sold it and now only operate this location. She’s been in the biz for 40 years! I’ll definitely be back for another Greek Avocado Chicken Breast Salad!!! BTW the dressing is HOMEMADE!

Avo and his wife not only provide great food but they also provide great company. I sat and talked with them for over an hour before ordering and even after my food was ready just because they are so friendly and truly care about their customers. If you are looking for a great, well priced meal and some friendly small talk this is the place. I never eat Greek anywhere else.

Food was absolutely amazing. I got the Gyro Asada Fries with no jalapeños and extra tzatziki and lemme tell you… it was fantastic! The lady(who I assume was the owner) who helped us was super nice and prepared everything herself. The gyro meat on the fries was perfectly seasoned. The only thing I can say bad about it was that the tzatziki was a smidge bland, but other than that it was awesome. I’ll be coming here a lot!

Food was ok. Lady behind the counter was nice. I’ve had better Gyros though and Saritas is just down the street for my munchie fix.

I can’t believe I have lived right around the corner from this place for more than 6 years now and this is the first time I have eaten here! I would have gone a lot sooner, but hey better late than never. I ordered the spicy gyro wrap and it was delicious: well cooked and spiced gyros meat, bacon, jalapenos, and the usual tomatoes, onions, and sauce. The fries were crispy on the outside, potatoey in the middle, and the salad was very fresh. Coming back again soon! One note for people used to air conditioning: it was hot today and they either don’t have A/C or didn’t turn it on, so I waited outside where it was at least breezy while they prepared my order.

The gyros are pretty good(especially price-wise if you order at least 2) and they will put on or leave off whatever you ask for — but as others have commented the owner is often on the phone arguing with someone about something he doesn’t like — and this makes coming here a bit unpleasant. Too bad. But there are also other places that offer gyros(as good or better — except usually in price). Parking is plentiful and the restaurant close to many other local businesses and services for those already in the area who are more than just hungry. I’ll probably come again — but it is not my favorite place to visit or eat.

The guy behind the counter could hardly be bothered to get off the phone for five minutes while I placed my order. The gyro sandwich tasted totally generic like someone just threw some meat in a pita with some huge chunks of onions and called it a life. There’s lots of good Greek places in the area and this is not one one of them.

Has been in the area for awhile and decide to go for a bit of gyros. Not bad but I am spoiled by GREEKSTYLECHICKEN.

I will preface this with the food was very very good… however…I had the exact same experience as another reviewer. My husband and I always see the sign out front advertising a deal on gyros, that the owner obviously doesn’t know about because overcharged us TWICE. He was not friendly as all and sat around yelling orders to a very sweet woman in the back who was doing everything! She was cooking, cleaning, brought us our drinks, and actually smiled at us! I’m on the edge about coming back because the food was so good, obviously the nice woman is doing her job well, however I’m not a fan of supporting business owners who don’t seem to care about their costumers. Had he been even the tiniest bit friendly this would have been 5 stars.

The food was good here but when my dad and I walked in I saw a man, probably the owner, sitting down in a chair in front of the computer. He was yelling orders to a smiley woman named Gloria and he only spoke to us when we wanted to pay for the order. That woman was mopping sweeping cooking cleaning wiping smiling dusting JESUS! I felt so bad… Ill go to the Greek place by the old blockbuster. EEO meany pants!

My wife & I tried this place for the first time today. So good! I had the gyro plate with fries. The meat was seasoned and cooked well. The fries were not oily. The greens were fresh and crisp. I will be going here more often. Great service, clean, and delicious food.

I stopped by here to pick up a Gyros Greek Salad to go. When I arrived, there was a man behind the counter hanging out. I made a few jokes with him and he seemed friendly enough. The gyros salad was quite large and had a generous amount of gyros and salad mix.( ) The gyros meat however were not as good as I expected. They were descent, but they were unevenly cooked and some pieces were simply undercooked. They had good flavor but their lack of doneness did not allow their flavor to fully develop. There were some nicely cooked pieces but inconsistent. The salad was nice with romaine, onions, tomatoes, feta, and a few olives. The Greek salad dressing was very good. The salad also came with some nice fluffy pita bread. If the Gyros meat would of been prepared more evenly through, the salad alone would of earned this place 4 stars, but today I have to stick with an A-Okay generously enough.

My husb & I came here because we’ve been wanting gyros. As soon as we walked in I knew it was going to be a five star review. The owner was very polite and greeted us. The woman cooking our meal was also very polite. We ordered two gyros & fries and a side of pita because I love pita! The gyros were delicious, fries were too. I’ve been craving fries and they hit the spot. Gyros were not greasy and they were HUGE! Onions were fresh and gave the gyro a nice crunch. My husb & I will definitely come back to try their other menu items!

I like this place because I got attracted to their storefront and Greek food seemed to resonate with me but have never tried it. Coming in, I didn’t want to feel estranged by my recent switch to a meat-free lifestyle. I asked them reluctantly about food without meat and they told me that the Falafel didn’t have any meat so I ordered it with a side of salad. The food took a little longer than I had expected but it was fine. The total was about $ 7, which I thought was a little expensive. After taking my food someplace comfortable, I opened it and ate my meal and was very satisfied. Well worth the seven bucks. Their food hit the spot without that feeling of bloating. If you want to eat authentic Greek food made with simple ingredients, come to this place. I’ll try the $ 10 Veggie Platter next time. I wonder what Dolma tastes like?

Amazing! The food is beyond delicious and the portions are more than generous. I work nearby and I’m in here about once a week for lunch. I always get the chicken kabob & gyro combo, with rice and salad. It’s $ 10 and is large enough to make two meals out of it. Everything is fresh, right down to the onions and cucumbers on my salad when I order. The owner is always there and is such a nice guy. There is always the same woman cooking for him and she does a fantastic job. I can’t say much about the rest of the menu, since I always order the same thing. I can only say it’s a clean place, with great food and family run. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious gyro or someone with a craving for Greek.
