History

Established in 2000.

Alpine Windowerks was sold in October of 2014, and is now under new ownership. John Garrod has returned to manage the company.

We specialize in the historically correct restoration and replication of wood windows and doors. We have the manufacturing capacity to handle jobs of any size and have completed many residential and commercial projects throughout Southern California.

We have the experience and knowledge necessary to assist our customers with conforming to mandated historic guidelines and have relationships with several historic resource boards and societies.

We also offer custom entry systems, interior doors, and other custom mill work that other companies are unable or unwilling to take on.

We are a full service organization, offering honest condition evaluations, quotations, site-​visits, design assistance, architectural drawings, manufacture, installation, and delivery.

Meet the Manager

John G.

Manager

Having helped start the company and later left for new experiences, John Garrod has returned and is back at the helm.

John has 20 years experience in the window and door industry, having started in manufacturing and spent recent years as a salesperson for many different product lines.

John has a depth and breadth of knowledge that is rarely matched. He has been factory trained in product knowledge by the country’s largest window and door manufacturers, and has experience with many brands and product lines, including Pella, Andersen, Jeld-​Wen, Eagle, Windsor, Hurd, Kolbe, La Cantina, TruStile, Velux, and many more.

Having spent the last 10 years in a sales capacity in and around San Diego County, John has many relationships with the area’s architects, designers, and builders. He is known for providing excellent customer service and performing as promised.
