We were looking for a restaurant, and stopped in for the first time. We were blown away by all the food. We had Cannelloni, Trout and Red Snapper, all delicious. We even purchased the salad dressing to take home with us. We will be back!

Don’t ever try coming here around 930pm! They have a strict«we close at 10pm» but the kitchen closes in 15 minutes attitude. This is the second time I showed up and they turned me away. I asked the waiter if he would kick us out and he said, «Well, you just have to hurry.» I understand arriving at a restaurant when it’s closing, but come on — It’s a Friday night and they have the Copa America game on. We would easily spend money and tip well. It’s a shame too bc I have been here before during the day and enjoyed the food. Twice in a row though? No thanks. We took our business next door.

Decent steak place but a little over priced in my opinion(hence the 3 stars). I would love to try their Wagyu steak dishes sometime but wasn’t expecting to have to pay $ 80 and up for a steak. This is a great spot though if you want to try some different exotic meats. The short ribs entrée was tasty and their NY strip was very marbled and tender.

Good date night setting. Food is fresh and really good. My fiancé had the beef skirt and it was delicious. I had the shrimp also good. The outside look isn’t that great because of the location but when you are inside feels different. Service was great! Great mango mojito!

Had a wonderful lunch(the executive lunch). Empanadas were ok, but the lentil soup was super flavorful and complex. The tenderloin was rich and beautiful. The star of the lunch was the Argentine crêpe… no words, just emotion! They had a Pinot Noir from Argentina that was smooth and subtle, yet full of layered flavor. Wonderful!

Came here with my good friend Kim and Matt for Matt’s birthday. I know I have made reservations for my boss in the past here but I had not made it over to try it out sooner. OMG…I feel wrong for it because the food was amazing, atmosphere was nice, and the service was wonderful. Really nice guys with thick fun accents and awesome personalities. We started the night with a shot and myself amazing Mango Mojito. My new favorite drink btw… for someone who didn’t eat all day omg… I felt it immediately. LOL… We proceeded to the menu and ordered the PARRILLADAS Argentinian Mixed Grilled it had a combination of Entraña, short ribs, chorizos, morcillas, salchicha parrillera, molleja and chicken. All I could say is OMG… we also got the wild hog entrée and that came with potatos au gratin and a cream of mushroom sauce and spinach. It was all very flavorful and the food was amazing. The chimichurri was something they should consider bottling. I would have taken a bath in it. I am sure it would have done wonders for my skin. As you can tell I highly suggest this place and honestly bummed that I waited so long to come here. I will definitely have to come back with family and friends.

You know those times when you go out to dinner and you come out realizing you could have cooked better at home? This is that place. Nothing was bad about the food but it wasn’t special either. usually, I’ll come out as though I’ve just experienced something(be it bad or good) but leaving here, I felt nothing. The service was okay but our food had obviously been sitting around for a while because it arrived barely warm. Normally, I wouldn’t make a fuss about such minor things but when there’s only one other table in the restaurant and our server isn’t responsible for them, my food better come out piping hot. For the four of us we paid $ 200 but that didn’t include the wine. That being said, I would rather spend my $ 200 on a less bland or even more exciting of an experience.

Went there on Saturday due to the nice reviews in Unilocal. For the price the cuts of meat are cheap and tough full of thick nerves and connective tissue. Never let a restaurant tell you how you should eat your meats. Medium means medium period. We asked for medium and got all cuts well done. You get way better service variety and quality cuts at any of the Brazilian Steakhouses in town like Tradicao, Texas de Brazil, or Fogo de Chao. Do not recommend and will not go back. These guys are arrogant when it comes to customer service.

We were added a 20% gratuity to our check, it is not legal in Texas since 2014. We told the waitress which was not informed and he said would ho bring the owner who never showed up and still we got charged the 20% gratuity. I have the receipt and this week will report them. Stay away If the owner wants their employees make the minimum wage then why not increase their salary instead of adding 20% gratuity. Because it was not even 15% or 18% but 20%. Not even restaurants like Perry’s or other more sophisticated restaurants do that! In my opinion this restaurant is not sophisticated at all it is a simply Argentinian Restaurant. If you are a group of 6 or more stay away it is not worth it. Will never come back there and will not recommend it also to anybody:

5 star dining at it’s best! One of the best dining establishments in Houston! The menu and wine lists were extensive. The appetizers were good enough to be a meal themselves. We had the Veal, Wagyu Ribeye and Venison for entrées and each one was superb! The wait staff was attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend! We are already planning our next trip to the Patagonia.

Everything was good, but the ny strip steak didn’t really impress me. Otherwise service and vibe were cool, but it wasn’t really that busy so I can’t speak for service on a busy night. The best part about it? It’s right in front of Home Depot, which makes this place great for date night-if a girl is down for a quick trip to Home Depot before dinner-you’ve got the right kind of girl my friend.

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall type of place being in a strip mall and on the feeder road, but don’t be deceived. It’s a high-end restaurant and the prices reflect that. We had dinner there tonight and the food and service was absolutely amazing! I just came back from Argentina a couple of weeks ago and I was expecting this place to be ok, but the experience is as authentic as it gets– The owner and the staff are all Argentinian. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter served my fiancé first to taste, waited for an approval, and then served us– a gesture I have only seen in Argentina. We ordered the parillada for 2 — came with rosemary potatoes and a starter salad. The parillada was just as I’ve had in Argentina. The best part was morcilla. I would definitely come again. The wine, parillada, and 2 espressos came out to $ 125 for the night.

We got there a bit late so Im pretty sure our waiter ha already made his money by then. night started awesome. the empanadas were delicious but 7.50 for two of them? overpriced. for 70 dollars you get the parillada that starts with a salad which was amazing. The fajitas in the parillada were very good especially with the chimichurri and the ribs were good but had to send them back raw by this time our waiter had forgotten about us. Not worth what we paid was expecting this amazing food. Sausages were okay. Will try chama gaucha next time will not be returning. now I know why on a Friday for a small place there was no wait.

I took my wife here for our valentines dinner and she loved it, which is more important than me liking it or loving it! Our waiter was astonishing very kind gentleman and quick. Everything was delicious, the bread, the salads, the soup, the main entrée and dessert! I recommend it!

Our new favorite place to eat. We were greeted by the owner(he is Argentinian). W we et to Argentina for our honeymoon and we loved the food. I’m so happy we have it so close to our house. Service is amazing and very friendly. Restaurant is very clean. Enough parking and the food is delicious. It is our little Argentina spot right on the corner of our home! Will be back. I would recommend my wine it was a glass of Viniterra Malbec 2012 !!. . I had two of them! It tells you how much I loved it.

Barbaro… We trusted the Unilocal reviews and ordered the parillada para dos. It was superb and the mollejas were even better than the ones I’d had in Buenos Aires. The morcilla was amazing too. We also had the chance to talk to Sebastian and Danny, the full blooded Argentinian owners, and that just added to the overall impression of a great, and authentic, Argentinian restaurant. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED.

Came here for dinner with my mother and brother after having Unilocal’d and found very good ratings for this place. We had made reservations for this Sunday evening, but it seems it wasn’t really necessary as only two other tables were occupied. As we entered we were greeted by a very nice gentleman… he pretty much let us choose where we wanted to sit as there was plenty of available tables. There’s a choice of booths, 4-seat tables, and seating at the bar. I noticed that this place has a very classy casual ambiance… with a very nice bar with a large flat screen TV airing live sports games… and cool floor to ceiling displays of plenty of different wines. I don’t eat Argentinian food too often, so took time to look through the menu… and must admit that they have quite a very appetizing selection of menu items… mostly specializing in steaks, but also offering soups/salads, seafood(mostly fish), pastas, poultry… and the list goes on. I also noticed that the appetizers included some of my favorites like crab cakes, calamari, and beef, chicken, and ham and cheese empanadas. We didn’t want to fill up and so just ordered the chicken and beef empanadas. Since I don’t eat beef, I thought the chicken empanadas were quite good with a thin crispy filo type pastry. I noted that the beef empanada used a different pastry. My mother and brother mentioned they too were quite good. On to the mains… by a seafood recommendation, our server highly recommended the Red Snapper in Cognac Sauce… a grilled snapper sauteed in a cognac, bell pepper sauce. The dish normally comes with a blend of vegetables and mashed potatoes, but I opted for more veggies in place of the mash. The other recommendation by the server was the Neuquen Grilled Trout… a grilled wild trout served on a bed of sauteed spinach with Roquefort cheese, mushrooms and white wine sauce. My mother went ahead and ordered this and was impressed by the size of the trout, but complained that the cheese sauce was much too strong and heavy for her. My brother ordered the New York strip steak, which was highly raved about on Unilocal… and mentioned that it was very good. My mother also ordered the Asparagus soup which came with a side of bacon bits… unfortunately, she didn’t enjoy the bacon bits in her soup and I thought it looked very greasy. I enjoyed my red snapper very much… the fish was very fresh and grilled perfectly… and the cognac sauce was really delicious and went very well with the fish. The sides of broccoli, cauliflower, and fingerling carrots were also cooked perfectly… and healthy. What I was really impressed by is the portion of everything… especially the fish… it was very generous and well worth the price. Service was excellent throughout and our server came by every so often to check on us… another gentleman also came by our table to ask how things were going… we later learned from the server that this gentleman was the restaurant’s owner. Lastly, as much as we wanted to try some of their signature desserts, we were just too full… so passed. If I were living in Houston I would definitely return to eat here on a regular basis.

Overall a nice restaurant. The ambiance is nice, but not too fancy for a unit within a strip mall. We were generally pleased with the food, and they have a good wine selection. The owner and our waiter were very attentive — It was a relatively slow night, maybe? There is a wide range of prices here. Since they do market themselves as a «steakhouse», the average steak entrée on the dinner menu was probably about $ 50−65…so rather expensive and definitely not just $$. However, it is possible to order some very good value dishes to get the average guest order to a more respectable $ 40+ per head for dinner for a shared appetizer, entrée and included salad(for many entrees). They also have Grilled Meat Platters that can be shared for entrees for about $ 35 per head — we didn’t order this, but perhaps a good one to share the next time we come and are all in the mood for meat. OK, so here what we had… Empanadas — Chicken & Beef — Pretty good, tasty filling. Pastry was nice and thin, but some were nice and crisp while a couple were a little soft and limp. Cream of Asparagus — Nice flavor, but could have been served a little hotter. House Salad w/Lemon Vinaigrette — Nice and simple Neuquen Grilled Trout — Very good whole trout(deboned). Nice flavor. The roquefort mushroom white wine sauce is good, but can be a little overpowering if you are not a blue cheese fan. Outside Skirt Steak(Entrana) — Very tender and flavorful. Definitely my favorite dish of the night, and pretty reasonably priced at $ 29 for a 10 oz cut of all natural Silver Farm beef — yes, I love that they feature all natural premium steaks here.

I came here for dinner, and while this place is expensive($$$), it is also one that provides a carnivore with a great Argentine parrillada. I’ve had tried at least over 20 different Argentine restaurants’ parrilladas and this one exceeds most of them. In the order of the parrillada, the grilled meats include short ribs, entraña, mollejas(sweetbreads), morcilla(blood sausage), chorizo, and longaniza(thin spiral sausage). It’s accompanied by a salad and a side(opted for the Russian salad, which is a very traditional South American side). For $ 69, it was pretty pricey even comparing with the other parrilladas I’ve had in the past, but this order can be shared with three people instead of the usual two. And the quality is top notch! The mollejas or the sweetbreads were also perfectly made — which is a surprise since it usually has an off-taste in most other Argentine places. The short ribs were the largest I’ve ever seen, and delicious. The entraña or churrasco was perfectly seasoned. The sausages were all great. I recommend ordering it medium rare — it’s delicious and juicy enough this way. If you leave it in the grill plate that they bring out to the table, it will cook it all the way to medium well, with time. The service was friendly, and the owner and chef walked around to see if all patrons were enjoying the meals.

This restaurant is a piece of Argentina in Houston! Great environment and service! So… Start with the bread and chimichurri, then go to some beef empanadas! For the entrée, give yourself a chance to taste the BEEFTHECHORIZO, it is so fantastic!!! To the GRANFINALE… Panqueque de Dulce de Leche!!!
