Hong Kong Kitchen

They were really busy when we arrived for take out. Only one driver for the night and the phone would not stop ringing. The food was actually pretty okay, except the egg drop soup which had no flavor and be prepared to add soy sauce to the rice because it was dry and lacked flavor. The noodles were really well seasoned and the egg rolls are good. If you really want Chinese food it isn’t bad, but I would try other places in the area first.

The food was good. We got steamed dumplings, sweet’n’sour chicken, crab Rangoon, and steamed shrimp and vegetables. The only problem was delivery took a long time. We will order from them again.

My family and I came into place out of circumstance. We were coming from a long trip and all the Thai restaurants in Spring Lake are closed on Sunday, so we opted to try this place since wifey wanted rice. I tried to give this place a chance but as soon as you walk in, this place is disorganized and messy looking. Boxes and boxes covered the dinning area. Then when we got our food, it was served with paper plates and plastic ware. I thought the weight of the food was going to tear the paper plate! But I could’ve forgiven all that if the food was on point. Ladies and gentlemen, I ordered Kung Pao chicken and received celery and carrots covered with peanuts and Kung Pao sauce. The pieces of chicken were tiny and few. We ordered the combination fried rice which was dry and had little flavor. I’m not a hater or a troller and I know Spring Lake, NC is not renowned for their Chinese food but this place is awful. I will never come back or order food from this place ever again. AVOID!

Food is mediocre. Awful service. Not friendly. Waited 30 minutes there to pick up food, eventually left and told them to deliver as it was over an hour from when I placed the order.
One of the only places that delivers to neighborhoods outside of town… Which is why it must still be in business.
