First, Attitude Dance Studios has six Twin City studio locations to make it more convenient for you. We specialize in Wedding Dance instruction with both private and group dance lessons. We teach ballroom dance lessons, Latin dance lessons, swing dance lessons, salsa dance lessons, country dance lessons, and other social dance instruction. We provide the DVIDA dance syllabus for American Style Smooth Ballroom Dances, the DVIDA dance syllabus for American Style Rhythm Ballroom Dances, the Dance-​Rite dance syllabus for the American Core Dances, as well as dance syllabus instruction for other social dances. You can find our group dance lessons available in Burnsville, as part of the community education program for IDS #191.

History

Established in 1995.

Attitude Dance was founded by Jim Crawford in 1995. As business grew, and to accomodate affordable dance lessons for persons comfortable learning in a group with others having the same interest, an extensive partnership with community education programs was started. That relationship has continued since 2002.

A premier dance club, Attitude Dance Club, for dancers of all levels was added to give extra value and a wide range of benefits for dancers in the Twin Citfies of Minneapolis and St Paul.

Dance-​Rite Entertainment Products was added tp provided dance syllabus handbooks for dance figures in all styles of ballroom dance, Latin dance, swing dance, salsa dance, nightclub dance, country dance, and many more social dances.

Meet the Manager

Jim C.

Manager

Jim Crawford has over 50 years experience teaching dance lessons. Jim is the founder of Attitude Dance and currently the managing dance instructor of Attitude Dance Studios. He provides instruction, training, and coaching for all levels of dancers. Jim was a competition dancer and professional performer before continueing his career as a professional dance teacher.

Jim, also, is the founder and managing dance instructor for the College of Ballroom Dance Teachers serving six locations in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul. The professional dance teachers college provides instruction and training for anyone interested in a part-​time or full-​time career as a professional dance teacher in ballroom dance.
