It all started back in June of 2000 when I adopted a beautiful cat from the local shelter and needed someone to care for him. I had started a new job and was required to go to training out of town for a week. I was extremely attached to my baby and did not want to board him. I also did not know anyone that I trusted enough to care for him. I even asked my new boss if I could have a pet-​friendly room at the hotel where I was staying. Needless to say, His answer was an affirmative «NO». So, my quest began to find someone I could trust to care for my cat. After meeting with a few potential sitters, without any luck, I made a major career decision to not take that new high paying, yet high stressful job and decided instead to start pet sitting for a living. Now, almost 12 years later, there hasn’t been a day that I regret that decision.
