Tonight was our annual Christmas service. Riverside Community Church has been having our Christmas service here since before we had our own building. I wonder if the old German settlers imagined anything like this for their dance hall?
We went for the early service so that we could see the kids program. The kids did an awesome job, & I am sure a lot of parents are really happy tonight.
A little about the building — no heat, so be prepared. Lucky for us this year, it wasn’t as cold, & the hot chocolate really hit the spot.
If you are looking for a new Christmas service, this is one you should consider. Out in the middle of nowhere, in an old dance hall that’s more than 100 years old, it kind of takes you back in time so that singing Christmas songs gets everybody in the spirit.
