Concept Home is Spokane’s only boutique contemporary store. We specialize in small scale, urban furnishings with a contemporary twist. Our artwork selection is second to none, our accessories are like nothing you’ve ever seen and our store feels like it came from New York. As a sister-​store of The Tin Roof, we believe that good design does not have to cost a fortune and more importantly — it does not have to come from Seattle.

We offer design consultations for the home as well as for commercial spaces.

We are also a favorite amongst the area designers when they are working on their client’s projects for unique and unsual pieces.

History

Established in 2008.

Concept Home is an off-​shoot of The Tin Roof, which is a part of Acme TV which was started in 1945 when Arch Hanley returned from WWII. The Tin Roof started in 2004 when Arch’s granddaughter decided to take Acme’s business in a different direction. Noticing the demand for contemporary furnishings in the Spokane area, she opened Concept Home. We strive to provide outstanding customer service and extraordinary furnishings, design and décor.

Business Owner

Heather Hanley owns both Concept Home and The Tin Roof. She believes that good design does not have to cost a fortune and does not have to come from Seattle. She strives to bring both stores a wide selection of unique and affordable furnishings and décor. Both stores are well known for not only affordable prices, but great selections and unique items. She participates in the community through various organizations and donations to local charities.
